I contacted Katie prior to moving to Lexington from out-of-state for assistance in some pre-moving chores. I was facing an eight hour drive with two very unhappy cats and needed to have their litter boxes, food and water ready for them at our new home the minute they got out of the car. I came to Lexington to look for an apartment a few weeks ahead of the move with all of their goodies (and some essentials for me as well.) Katie met me at my hotel and loaded all of our stuff into her car and even took me to Petsmart to buy a cat tree. She kept our things in her garage until the day prior to the move. Although Katie herself was unavailable that day, she arranged to have an assistant deliver the items to our new home. When I - and two utterably miserable cats - arrived the next evening, not only had the stuff been delivered, but I found the litter boxes set up, the shower curtain hung, my coffee pot plugged in (Oh, thank you for that!), and food in the cupboard. By bedtime, both cats were right at home. Katie's services made the move so much easier for me. She is also loads of fun and a font of knowledge about Lexington, which was very helpful to a new resident. I'll not hesitate to call upon Katie again when the need arises.

They did a great job and I liked that it was easy. We just called them up, they showed up, picked our stuff up, and they delivered it like they said they would. They also helped to carry it in and out. They did what we expected, which is not usual anymore these days. They complained a little bit, but not too bad. It wasn't a big deal. They didn't really want to haul the stuff in and out of the house but they had too. They were good with their price and they were on time.

I say the price is a little on the high side. They were helpful and able to solve problems for me. I don't remember anyone complaining from them which I have had before from other movers. Everything went relatively smoothly. They were in a hurry to get out because it was a long day but I can't blame them for that.

"I am shocked and very disappointed to say the least? Why in the world would [member name removed] feel the need to write something so untrue/hurtful on a very hard working small business, her statements are so wrong on so many levels. But the attacks on my character will not be tolerated, they are NOT TRUE! [member name removed] did put in a few statements that may have a small thread of truth but a very small thread that would not fit threw a needle!! Again, [member name removed] is in a very difficult situation, and I feel very sorry and very sad for her and wish her the best in the future. I will not have her in the house again. When I searched the trash bags ( to see what she was throwing out), she called my daughter. This was unacceptable.

"I really enjoyed working for (deleted member name) and her husband, I think it was just a misunderstanding with what was said to her daughter, I really did not care if she went through the garbage bags 50 times, (they were items that we were getting rid of) she had every right to see what was going to the garbage. I would really like to work with them again? I really thought we had a great connection, and they are really a super couple!"

From the time I started discussing what I needed to the time it was finished, she took care of it and didn't even bother me with details, it was like she just knew exactly what needed to be done. Not only did she get my list of requests done quickly, but she did extra and with such a great attitude that I just couldn't have asked for more.

I moved the end of December. I had movers transport the heavy stuff and a friend was going to help me move the lighter stuff. My friend bailed. I have arthritis and could not move everything by myself. I had used Concierge Girl before and was pleased with the service. I called Conceirge Girl and talked to Katie Weitzel, the owner. Katie was busy but squeezed me in the next day. She arrived when she said she would, ready to get to work. She bagged small items, took them, and heavier individual things, to her vehicle and mine, and transported them to my new home, took everything from the vehicles into my home in less than an hour. The woman can work!
Katie called to let me know she was on the way and she arrived right when she said she would. She was pleasant, friendly, and eager to help. She was reliable, honest, and easy to be around. And, wow, was she efficient.
I plan to use Concierge Girl often in the future as I settle into my new home. My arthritis makes simple things like hanging drapes, mowing my yard, walking my dogs impossible. I was even planning on asking her to put up flyers and help me find a lost cat, but he showed up. What's really great is that Concierge Girl can help with all kinds of things--think of something and I bet Katie can take care of it. I am so glad I found Concierge Girl.

I live in Harrisonburg, Va. and my brother and his family live in Lousville, KY. We wanted to send them donuts and pastries from one of the local bakeries in Louisville and have them delivered to their door. After finding Concierge Girl Services on Angie's List, I called the number listed and spoke with the owner, Katie. Although her business is based in Lexington, She told me she does work in Louisville regularly and happened to be there when I called! I gave her the name and address of the bakery I had ordered thru, as well as my brothers home address.
Katie offered to include a card w/my greeting/sentiment.. took that information, and within an hour, had picked up and delivered the Christmas donuts/pastries, along with a card, to my brother's home. - Something I could not do 500 miles away!
I highly recommend Concierge Girl Services for any errands you may need help with. Katie is warm, accommodating and friendly, with a 'can do' attitude. Thank you Katie and Concierge Girl Services! I'm so glad to know your there - I'm sure we'll use your services again!

Katie was wonderful. Absolutely punctual, sympathetic, and extremely accommodating. On several occasions I had abrupt changes in schedules due to emergencies at work, and Katie was able to get me to and from work at short notice. That was very helpful and very appreciated. Use of Concierge Girl Services made my transition from home recovery to work easy and worry free, given that the schedule was not fixed and varied day to day.
I will have my other knee replaced next year, and plan to use Concierge Girl Services again, especially since I may not get as much assistance from family next year.

Showed up on the time of need on short notice. Worked well for the need. Did not require much explanation of the services. Well upto point and figured out the task by herself. Did a grt job overall.

Katie Weitzel was prompt (no waiting for her to take me to the hospital or to take me home), reliable, friendly, courteous, and professional. As a bonus, she is also intelligent and interesting. She was patient in navigating the Central Baptist Hospital campus which is a real mess with the construction going on. Katie went out of her way to make everything as easy as possible for me. She even brought me a little snack when she picked me up after the surgery. The $25 cost was reasonable. It was well worth not having to inconvenience a friend. Surgery on my other eye is scheduled in two weeks. I have already asked Katie to drive me to and from the hospital.
