"Eric is the brother of the owner. Eric came with a team of two other men, one 28 and the other man in his 50s. I had hired Peavler before and they did work hard but put item moved were placed everywhere instead of where they were labeled to be. What I saw on this day was more obvious. The two men Eric brought with him were extremely hard workers. Eric has a way of yelling at them and thinking it is funny or a joke, but it is not. Eric mostly stayed on the truck and rearranged things to get the most on it, but the two movers really needed help moving items and having a break. In the end, Eric really did not check with me as he should have checked to see what was priority and what was not as far as what they put on the truck. This was more important for me as they charged greater than $120/hour for 3 men. Yes, that is a lot especially when they only pay those 2 men (one who has been with them over 20 years) @$9.50 per hour. Neither received any benefits. I call a business like that not family friendly. How can those men survive on $9.50 and hour and carry the heaviest things out of people's home on a daily basis...and get yelled at too! With that type of a job medical insurance should be mandatory. I was appalled...and the icing on the cake was that Eric charged me $120.00 / hour rate for the 2 helpers he had to sweep out the truck and fold up the blankets (which was 45 min). I told Eric that was unreasonable and he would not take off that charge or lower it. That means I paid @ $80.00 for sweeping the truck and folding the blankets. I will not hire them again."

"In spite of numerous negative reviews about Move Quick, Inc., I opted to hire this company for my move from West Virginia to Los Angeles. I spoke to Phillip, the manager/owner, who convinced me that the posted complaints had been resolved and were exaggerations. However, I, too, was subjected to an exaggerated low bid in order to snag my business. I, too, experience problems with the pick up and the delivery dates. The movers were a day late in arriving, then quoted me a 67% increase in price, from $3,100 to $5,200. BUT I was stuck. The company already had my deposit money. Also, I was charged for one flight of stairs and an exaggerated inaccurate measurement of my front door to the truck. I had been told there was no fee for one flight. I had provided exact measurements for the items in my two rooms of furniture. True, I had 51 boxes instead of 40 but that did not warrant such an increase in price, 67% almost $2,000. Delivery was also problematic. I had told Move Quick, Inc. that I would be at my new home 25 days after the pick up, October 30, 2019. That should have been more than enough time for any truck to drive cross country. They made me wait until December 4, 2020, a total of 25 days to drive 2,400 miles. I made the drive solo in 5 days. Communication with the company once they have your money is near to impossible. It took threats and 6 days for Philip to respond. He then provided an insignificant $75 discount. My recommendation: go with a larger company than can provide an accurate estimate and deliver within a reasonable time. Also, use a company that uses the industry standard of moving cost based on the weight of your items. Don’t let Phillip tell you his method of charging based on volume is better. No one else does this, for a reason. Other estimates I had received were in the $3,700 range.I should have Booked Elsewhere!”"

I cancelled the service because I had donated 25% of my house to charity and there were less items to move. However, they did not return my deposit of $2429.90 because they said that I did not cancel in time. They have pulled the bait and switch routine on others (B&B complaints). I would not advise anyone to use them for your moving services !!"
