"Matt and Ben were AWESOME. We bought an old butchertown house from the 1800s, and they came out right away and evaluated the whole home for us.  In the end they determined that the existing spray foam was more than we needed (didn't even charge) and had a lot of recommendations for subcontractors that we did need for other projects.  Could not believe we found a contractor who didn't try to upsell us or rip us off.  I know friends that used them for spray foam and raved.  I cannot recommend them strongly enough.  "

"Hired Vertrees Insulation to install closed cell spray foam in a new construction pole barn. Excellent customer service. Prompt and professional.. Closed cell foam is very expensive but their quote/cost was well below the competitors. I would use them again and recommend them."

The most obvious con of injection foam is the cost. It’s much more expensive to install than fiberglass or spray foam, but it may be your only option (unless you want to remove entire walls around the home). Mold can grow on garage ceiling insulation, which is why it’s important to install a vapor barrier behind the insulation and keep the space cooled and heated as you would your living area. Doing so will more or less eliminate the risk of mold growing on your garage ceiling insulation. You can also install a self-draining dehumidifier to help remove moisture, or opt for a foam board insulation or spray foam insulation that won’t harbor moisture and mold.

Unfortunately, pipes can freeze when exposed to prolonged freezing temperatures, whether or not you have installed insulation covers. Insulation covers, however, are still an excellent idea as they can reduce the chance of your pipe freezing by keeping the pipes closer to the temperature of the water inside the pipe.
