I had seven companies come out and give me estimates. He was about half the price so I was a little bit wary of using him but since he did not ask for any money down and did not want to get paid until the job was completed I went with him. We had blown-in insulation in the walls and attic and we even did spray foam in the crawl space. We can tell a big difference already. Our furnace is running half the time that it was. If you're wanting to get your home insulated Jim Burkhead is definitely one to call.

I would highly recommend Jim Burkhead Home Specilist to anybody that is unsure what company to hire. They removed, installed, insulated the frames, and did all the finishing around the window in one day. I had shopped around and Burkheads' price was $4500 cheaper for the same model that another contractor had quoted. Also, Burkheads Specialist did all the work themselvves, as oppose to the other bids I recieved, the other contractors were going to sub-contract the work to other installers. Initially, I was very skeptical of the bid since it was so low, but in the end I could not be happier with the finished product.

They used a new modern spray foam on the exterior that keeps bugs, air and water from penetrating into the home. Thats what we were really sold on. They also did an great job on the aluminum wrap that matched our existing contour of our overhangs. They also did some seamless gutters and great job on those too! Did a great job and great quality.

They foam sprayed the exterior of the windows which everyone else uses fiberglass. The aluminum trim work is the cleanest work I have seen and I have seen ALOT of previous trim work done. It is a very excellent job. I had four previous estimates and Burkhead not only had the best price but the best workmanship by far. I am happy to have chosen this company. He got the project done in one day and I will continue to use him in the future.

They were $1k cheaper than 3 other estimates showed up on time, also used a 3 dimensional shingle, hand nailed the entire roof, and picked up every nail out of the yard

Arrived quickly and on time to provide estimate - the quote was fair and we agreed to terms - he ultimately completed the job to our satisfaction. He did have to ask him to address one issue but he did so promptly and fixed the issue completely. Overall we were very satisfied and would recommend him to our friends, relatives or colleagues.

Jim Burkhead is a trustworthy and reliable man. He couldn't have provided with me with any better service. The price for my windows was far lower than I dreamed, and when he and his men came to install, they were done in a one day (I had 12 windows replaced!) and cleaned up every bit of the old window debris. I will call Jim back to install a door and any other work I need of the like will CERTAINLY have Jim's name on it! I can't recommend him highly enough!
