- Gibson's Grading And ConstructionOnce David remove the crushed rock, he discovered the driveway base material also had to be removed. He had to bring in the correct type of soil, and then add 6-12" of road bond in order to get the driveway stabilized. In addition, he discovered--and fixed--an area of the driveway that was ready to slide down the hill. All this was done in the rain! Despite having to add more road bond than he had originally planned, David stuck to his quote. I have watched it rain for three days in a row now, and the driveway shows no signs of eroding. If you are looking for someone to tell you what you need to know--not what you want to hear--you need to talk to David. He is the most honest contractor I have ever used. As you can see, this was a fairly costly project, and I wasn't sure I would get my money's worth. As it turned out, the job David did was worth every penny

"The work is impeccable! I had my basement waterproofed about 6 months ago. We had one of the rainiest seasons I have ever seen in my 20 years living in Indiana. I have not had a DROP of water enter my basement, even on the heaviest rains since we had Advanced do our basement waterproofing.

"Had to have plumbing redone to shower and tub in one bathroom. I had called other plumbers in the area but they were too busy to get to it for 3-4 weeks. Roto Rooter said they would send someone the next day and would give an estimate and I would be charged a fee that would be put towards services if I decided to have them fix plumbing. They gave estimate and I told them to fix it, the guy said he would be back the next day same time. Following day, a different guy shows up, says I have to pay more than the estimate plus pay for turn off switches for hot and cold, which was going to be over $100 more than the estimate.. I told him NO!! I think he was trying to take advantage of the fact that there was not a man at home at the time. He done a shotty job by cross threading the hot/cold handle for the tub/shower so we can not even take a hot shower because it will not even turn to the hot side far enough to get hot. AND I WAS DUMB ENOUGH TO TIP THE GUY $40!!! I should have checked it before he left!! I never called them to have them come back to fix it because I was afraid they would screw it up worse the 2nd time around. And he said he would send a copy of the bill but never did because he could not provide a receipt of any kind.
