"I typically do not leave reviews, but my experience with Tom Drexler Plumbing was so poor that I feel compelled to share it in hopes of preventing others from wasting their time and money. I initially contacted the company to address a leaking faucet in a spare bathroom. I was given a vague appointment window of 8 AM to 5 PM and informed that if I didn’t answer a call prior to their arrival, the technician would not show up. When the technician arrived, he spent time criticizing the company’s hiring practices rather than focusing on the repair. He determined that a full tub and shower replacement was needed, quoting over $1,000. The work could not be done the same day, requiring me to schedule another appointment. The technician arrived late and took the entire day to complete the job, spending a significant portion of time sitting on my staircase visibly exhausted. The installation was subpar—both the faucet and showerhead were protruding nearly two inches from the wall, and the showerhead was visibly crooked. The faucet and showerhead were protruding so far out they couldn't even be caulked. My wife documented the issues with photos. She sent them to me after the tech left. I immediately called Tom Drexler, informed them of the subpar work, and requested a different technician to correct the poor workmanship. A new technician arrived the following week and made the necessary adjustments. However, within four days of using the shower, a leak developed in the ceiling of the kitchen below, and our toilet began leaking from the base when flushed—suggesting possible plumbing pressure or blockage issues. I contacted the company again and scheduled yet another appointment. Despite being given the same 8 AM to 5 PM time frame, no one showed up, and I had to follow up myself to learn the technician wasn’t coming. Eventually, another technician did visit and claimed the ceiling leak was due to "residual water" and dismissed the toilet issue. When the ceiling stain continued to grow, I called again and requested a supervisor. The supervisor came a week later, concluded that the issue wasn’t related to their work, and left without offering any solutions. Altogether, I had to take four days off work to accommodate this series of visits. I now need to hire another plumber from a different company to resolve the ongoing leak. Based on my experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend Tom Drexler Plumbing. The quality of work, communication, and overall customer service were consistently poor throughout the entire process."

"The service was completed successfully; the issue is that the homeowner paid to obtain a city permit in order to carry out the work. The service provider claims they requested it, but upon verification, it turns out they didn’t request anything. Now the homeowner is not responding. The homeowner needs the permit to schedule an inspection, but the problem is that she has a neurological condition that affects her perception, so she’s unable to drive and request it herself. Meanwhile, the service provider doesn’t have the documentation needed to apply for it in that state."

"The vendor was very nice. Prepared. We investigated the issue together and identified next steps. No issue was found and he let me know ahead of time that if he cut the drywall, he would not be replacing it. But, he did clean up after himself, which I appreciate."

"John claims to be a great Christian honest man which I really felt good about until he got here and started trying to upsell me on many other things I did not hire him for. Now I did not do any of those things because I would have spent a small fortune if I had. As far as I can tell right now the air conditioner is fixed properly but it?s only been one day. Just hoping I was right to trust him on that. He also did not stick to his original price he gave me but came down $50 off the $100 more he added. I just needed air conditioner fixed fast and hope the price was fair. He carry?s on too much about being an honest Christian person , but trying to upsell things never hired for is not so honest and Christian like to me. I was surprised by all of that and that is why I don?t have the trust in him I originally had. I just pray I can trust the work he did but now I would be hesitant to hire him again. Sincerely. "I actually run a large childcare/preschool. Rob and his entire crew installed roughly 20 cameras, ran data cable line for our internet/wifi, installed entry door security and security pads multiple doors to ensure security of the children when in their classroom. They provided us with an app on our phones to view people trying to enter our facility and the app also allows us to unlock our entry doors if someone needs to enter the school, without us having to be at the actual door. This has allowed so much freedom as before, we were stuck to watching the door incase someone needed to gain access. We also had some computer issues that they helped resolve by leading us in the right direction with new computer purchases. Anytime we have the smallest issue, they are quick to resolve it that same day. I have many friends who own/run daycares/preschools and I tell all of them about the services they provide. They are top notch and I promise if they can provide the service youâ re looking forâ ¦..they will deliver what you need and exceed all expectations."
