Customers say: True professional

"We hired Mario's Landscaping of Cincy to provide a spring cleanup and make some changes in our current landscaping. We added rocks and block edging in some areas and kept mulch in other areas. Mario was great in helping us find just the right rocks and edging that we desired. His crew did a fantastic job in every aspect. We especially appreciated the attention to detail that he provided to make everything perfect and meet our requests and expectations. Also, his pricing was very reasonable. We highly recommend Mario's Landscaping of Cincy. You definitely will not be disappointed."

Small jobs welcome

"I had two guys come out to help with junk removal, and they did an awesome job! They arrived right on time, worked quickly, and were super professional the entire time. They handled everything carefully and made sure the area was completely clean before they left. It was such a smooth and stress-free experience. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone who needs fast, reliable junk removal service."

"I called on a Thursday and the job was completed the next day! He is very responsive, they cleaned up every last twig and didn't damage anything. They even took a brush pile that we were waiting to burn. Saved us some trouble! The quote was very reasonable as well."

"Mike was able to cut down 3 trees and remove all limbs and brush quickly, carefully, and without disturbing any of the other landscaping. Per request, he left the rest in manageable lengths for firewood. He was very professional and I would recommend for any tree work needs."

"Took a couple of weeks to get to me, they have been quite busy. Very professional, cleaned up, chipped up everything and ground out the stump. I am a happy customer. Got the Angie's list discount. They showed up - gave me an estimate - called the day before they were going to show up - they showed up and did exactly what we agreed to in th estimate. I'll use Tree Images again!"

Brush Chipping questions, answered by experts

Yes, many companies offer convenient options to accommodate service timing needs.

The most common alternative is burning the stump first, then dealing with the cinders and ashes. As you can imagine, this option creates fire hazards, especially since roots can burn underground, hidden, for long afterward. That’s why many states and cities have outlawed the use of stump burning entirely. We do not recommend this option as a viable alternative unless you get a permit from the local fire department and practice all safe burning procedures.

Others prefer a more long-term DIY approach of degrading the stump with home mixtures like Epsom salt and vinegar injected directly into it. This may help the stump decay faster, allowing homeowners to dig it out themselves, but it’s still a lengthy process. It usually takes months for a stump to start falling apart with such treatments, and in the meantime, it can be vulnerable to rot, insects, and other problems.

Yes, it can be good to remove dead branches from trees. Dead branches can lead to rot in other areas of the tree. They can also cause damage if they fall on a house, shed, fence, car, pool, or other structure or property. However, it’s important that dead branch removal is done safely. If the branch is high in a tree or requires a lift or ladder to access, consider calling a professional tree removal company, as they will have the experience and equipment to do the job safely.

Depending on the method you choose to remove grass, it may or may not matter whether the grass is wet or dry when you perform the task. A dryer lawn will be easier to negotiate with a sod cutter, especially if you're not planning to reuse the turf. However, using a shovel by hand might be a little easier if the ground is slightly damp but not so much that it sticks to the tool.

A thorn bush isn’t likely to do serious damage, but it’ll definitely hurt if you get a thorn or two in your hand or arm. When removing thorn bushes, always wear thick gloves, long sleeves, and safety goggles to protect against thorns and dirt. If dealing with larger bushes or unfamiliar terrain, consider enlisting a helper for assistance.
