They both started in small cabinet factories where they learned the fine points of cabinet construction and finishing techniques and progressed to be known as two of the premier designers in the Louisville, KY area. Lora is one of only a few in the country to earn and receive the certification of Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designer (CMKBD) from the National Kitchen and Bath Association. She is also CAPS certified (Certified Aging in Place Specialist) by the National Association of Home Builders. Monty's design talent comes from years of experience in the cabinet field. Lora and Monty have both been featured in several publications. Both have been interviewed over the years by The Courier Journal, Louisville Builder Magazine, and Business First. Lora has had several articles appear in Louisville Magazine, Home Design and Living, and was in the Professional Spotlight in Business First. Both have also received several awards including the best kitchen award several times in the Home Builders Association of Southern Indiana Home Expo and each has been chosen as Associate of the Year for the Home Builders Association of Southern Indiana for their contributions to the building industry.
