"This is the closest category I could find for what I had done and know that they do this type of work. I hired this company to install a french drain in the back of my yard. There is a hill behind me and the grade from the house made the water collect in a swamp with nowhere to go. They did a great job of trenching out the entire width of that area, added perforated pipe with a filter cloth and gravel, then replacing the topsoil. They put a well with a sump pump at the end and tubing to pump the water out to the front of the house so it would go into the drainage system. Mike Jr., Brandon Powers, Eric Lawhon and Mike Houtchins were the team of workers and did a great job cleaning up afterwards also. It was a pretty large project but it only took them two days to complete. I am very happy with the results and highly recommend them."

Very professional, cleaned the area of work after completing the task & asked if there were any other issues that needed looking into. "Josh and the team did a really big job for us last week. They encapsulated our large crawl space, treated wood for mold, installed a sump pump, filled multiple cracks in our foundation, added two drainage systems to the exterior of our house and even cleared out the original drainage pipes in our retaining wall. It was a lot of work and I couldn't be happier that we decided to go with General Waterproofing. We had several quotes from other companies, some much more expensive, but Josh was the only one that actually discovered WHY we had water in our crawlspace and created a plan to tackle that problem. Going with the company that wasn't just putting a bandaid on the situation and was reasonably priced was no-brainer. Also, a number of the other companies were really aggressive and fear-mongered- I did not get that feeling from General Waterproofing at all. They were very upfront about the issues and did not try to upsell me on unnecessary systems or upgrades. The crew was polite"

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Over a period of approximately 3 weeks, water-damaged, drop ceiling tiles, drywall/insulation and carpeting was removed from a basement bedroom following a leak in a water pipe in the ceiling. They treated the studs to remove mold and left a dehumidifier/ large fans to dry out the studs and floor. 
Installed new insulation and drywall, new ceiling tiles, then painted entire room. Carpet was re-installed in the bedroom and stairwell so carpet would match throughout.
The work performed was excellent and personnel were courteous. Besides having some issues with the personnel arriving when scheduled to arrive, we were very satisfied with the whole experience.
