We live about an hour away from Evansville which is where our salesman, Chris Utley, traveled from to meet us. He was right on time for our appointment. He was very personable and did an excellent job with his presentation. Our house is 35 years old and I explained to him that I had no problem with my downstairs windows but I wanted to replace all the windows upstairs. The thing that impressed me the most about him was the fact that after I explained that to him, he made no attempt to try and sell me anything else. That was really the deciding factor on purchasing your product.

LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE! 2/4/25 - Final hit from Champion. My windows DO NOT qualify for the Federal Tax Credit. I failed to do my research. The windows must qualify for your climate zone on the day of installation. This info is on each window sticker. All of which were removed and not offered to me. From Energystar.gov: • On the day the products are installed, check the ENERGY STAR window label to make sure the product you received is certified to meet the performance requirements for your area. The ENERGY STAR label appears on the product next to the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) label on the glass of each product. • Save the ENERGY STAR and NFRC labels (typically combined) from the glass of newly installed windows to take advantage of financial incentives such as tax credits and/or rebates to lower your initial investment costs. Be aware that in the 4 or 5 months it takes to have them installed; they might not qualify. Champion's website shows that they are a "Energy Star Partner". According to energystar.gov - they are not a partner. B Burris Windows (8) C California Deluxe Windows (1) Cascadia Windows Ltd. (6) Coeur d'Alene Window Company (9) Columbia Manufacturing Co. Ltd. The value proposition and ROI make them a great choice. Edit to my review. ***July 5th received a text that my order was submitted. Sept. 27th and no windows. I’d emailed customer service and they replied telling me that a message had been sent to the branch and they’d contact me by Friday the 20th. No contact. I stopped by the branch on Thursday the 26th. I was told that my order had not shipped. There was a retooling at the factory that had things backed up. Chris would call me that day with more information. Still no call on Friday night. I’m now 3 payments in on windows that I don’t have. Poor communication from the local branch and their corporate customer service. DO NOT sign a contract. They are 88 orders behind in Evansville. Edit - October 23 install. One window was broken during installation. November 24 inquired about replacement and was told December/early January. Six months and the project is not finished. Problems are less with the local branch and more with Champion’s poor production, communication and no regard for the inconvenience. Proceed with caution and low expectations. January 15 - broken window replaced. The windows are performing well in the single digit weather.

Initially, I thought it was great. Our salesman knew the information and I felt like the initial consultation was fantastic. From there, it was downhill. The man that came to measure left me unsure of what he actually did...I questioned it to the salesman and was assured he took good measurements and we would not be charged additional if measurements were incorrect. I received a call a week or so later stating that one of the types of windows we initially ordered didn't come in the size we needed. OK, we change window type (paid additional $300 for new window type). Several weeks pass (as expected) and installer calls to set up time to come. We are scheduled and excited (and took unpaid day off work) and he shows up and turns out the man that measured didn't take into his measurements that our current windows were installed differently than the new windows would be. Installer would need additional crew and other tools. Reschedule for a week later...another unpaid day off work. Installer shows up with full crew and correct tools. When the installer got all of the windows out, he noticed that one of the sliders was 75" and one was 71". Both should've been 71(same size opening). So that slider had to be reordered. He also figured out he didn't have all of our windows for upstairs and had to go back to get it because it wasn't set aside with our order. Wait a few weeks for the re-ordered window to arrive. Installer calls and says he's available on a Saturday as a courtesy to us so we don't have to miss any more unpaid time from work (a courtesy that was NOT told to us by Champion even thought we asked several times). When we told installer that we understood Champion doesn't have installers do work on weekends, he assured us he does, often, and even had a full slate on the Saturday he booked us. No one has reached out to us with an apology or an attempt to make things right...except our salesman did send us a gift card to treat ourselves to dinner...of which I'm sure came from his own pocket when the company should have backed him on concerns that we had the ENTIRE time from the initial consultation. My review on google received feedback that I could call their national customer service number, however, why do I need to go out of my way AGAIN when the issues we had are theirs. One would think that they would reach out to me...I know they had a "sit down" to discuss my issues between local management and our salesman. They are well aware that we were displeased with the service we received. Our windows are fantastic...installation was fantastic...once it all happened, but not once did they offer a discount or even an apology for all the missteps along the way.

The installers were quick and clean. They sent wrong color trim but had white on the truck...white is pretty to. Job not complete. We are waiting for a storm door.

Well I ordered the doors originally 8/30/18. They came back in November to install the doors and they had imperfections in the paint (air bubbles and scratches) and it did not fit. They damaged my baseboards while trying to make the door fit. They ended up reordering the door for me. We have rejected 4 doors thus far due to imperfections. Finally they installed a door, but on the interior of the door there was major streaking. We have been going back and forth with this company for a while trying to get these doors installed. Finally, they ordered me another door which they sent to a local painter and upon arrival, it was the wrong shade and there were streaks in the paint still. I have called them multiple times since and they have yet to respond to me. The only positive thing I can say is about Tina. She genuinely cares about the customers and is the only great thing about this company.

They were quick and efficient. We had the work done in January and they had the old windows out and the new ones in before the temperature dropped in our house.

Installation was done in a timely manner. The quality of work was good and Champion has been very good about any questions I have had. I had an issue with a lock and they came and took care of it promptly.

There were mishaps but it is construction after all. They did make everything right in the end. We loved the finished product but getting it there was a nightmare at times.

They did a good job, but they don't service it after it's done. I've called them since then, because I have screens that have holes in them and they've never come to fix them. I have one window that won't latch, wouldn't close and lock, and they didn't come fix it. It's like they don't show up anymore. Now that they don't do anything with their services, I'm going to give them a D for professionalism.

Sales rep arrived on time. Products he showed us appeared to be high quality. However, he did spend quite some time to down talk their competitors (which I think it was inappropriate). Anyway, he give us a quote that was ridiculously high. It was about $15000 for 18 windows (including 2 picture windows). And that's the price I have to sign the contract that day, otherwise it would go up $2000 ~ $3000 more. Luckily I did not agree with it that day. We got more quotes and we ended going with Window World (which is one of the competitors the sales rep wasn't a fan of, however, I had several friends and coworkers told me good things about). We will be getting 18 windows (also good quality after I did some research) and all 4 doors replaced for $16000 by Window World. My point is always get several quotes and do some research before sign a contract, especially something will cost a lot.

Im very happy with the windows and doors that were installed. The windows and doors look and perform great. They had told me about energy savings, but I couldn't believe my savings on my last 3 months from Vectren. Apparently my windows and doors were leaking more than I thought they were. The install crew did a great job cleaning everything up and installed just like the salesperson had promised. After getting 3 other estimates, I chose Champion and I highly recommend these windows.

It took over 4 months start to finish. Lots of promises that did not follow through. I always had to be the one to make calls as to when the project would be started only to be told of another made up date. Not until I got a regional manager involved did the process get started. It was a very stressful experience.

It went great and while it took quite some time for the windows to come in (about 3 weeks later than we had anticipated) the work, the windows and the professionalism of the installers was top notch. I would definitely recommend them.

The work was great, but the after work was not. When I called them they never come out. They did a great job and they did a great service to me, but then I've got a window that does not close properly and lock. I wanted to get them out. They never came out and I got a lifetime screen replacement. I've got two screens that have holes in them. I wanted them to come out and replace these screens or redo them; they never called me back. I carried around and paid so much money for this sucker. I bought windows and doors from them and I bought siding from them also. I paid a lot of money to these people. I know they're busy, but, you know, they could have just returned my call and come over.
