"I wanted to share our experience with American Home Tech. Back in the summer of 2025, we had water damage in our kitchen and in our enclosed porch. Apparently, some of the shingles on our roof had wind damage and were no longer sealed to the shingles below. When a wind-driven rain came along, water was getting inside. We contacted Lee with American Home Tech, and they came to our home to do a quick inspection. They confirmed that we needed major repairs—so extensive that a full roof replacement would likely be required. After several trips by Lee to our home, meeting with insurance adjusters and inspectors, and countless emails back and forth with our insurance company, the job was finally fully approved for a total roof replacement. Lee and the entire team at American Home Tech were instrumental in getting us to that point. On the day of the work, the crew arrived on time, stayed on top of everything, and completed the job the same day. This truly shocked me because, during the tear-off of the old shingles, they discovered that plywood sheathing had to be added since our 1x6 boards were not a suitable surface for the new shingles. Not only did they do the right thing by completing the job properly, but they also reached out to the insurance company again to get the additional sheathing approved. In addition to the roof work, we also needed interior plaster repairs and painting, which they completed to perfection. We are extremely pleased to have found American Home Tech and would refer them to anyone who could use their services. They work hard, have a solid work ethic, and are trustworthy. You won’t go wrong hiring this company for your project."

"The roof and trim were done, and look great. But I have a couple of issues .The crew was very unfriendly. I came out just to say hi, and they sneered at me and walked away without a word. Also, after they left I found out that they apparently cut an electric wire as I had a tripped breaker and now some of my electric baseboard heaters don't work. This was in an area where they replaced sheathing material right over my breaker box. I contacted the rep, who acknowledged my issue and I am waiting to hear back."

"Our neighborhood was hit by a devastating hailstorm in 2022. The vinyl siding on the north sides of everyone's house was pocked with holes and gashes, roofs catastrophically damaged, broken windows, battered cars, tree limbs everywhere. Certainly, we had all seen storm damage much worse than what found after our storm, but we all braced for the challenges ahead: clean up, repair and even rebuild. As we picked up the pieces around our yards, contracting companies descended on our neighborhood. Dealing with the insurance end of the equation was already becoming a marathon--but the looming questions, who should we choose to repair our home, who will do the job well became a worrisome preoccupation for us and all of our neighbors. Over the course of a year of work, there were some issues that arose, perhaps not surprisingly, but each time and overall, Craftsmen listened to our concerns and acted fully to resolve them. But what made the difference was the consistent assurances we got from Phillip P, one of the company's owners, that Craftsmen would correct any issue to our satisfaction--a promise that our patient contractor, John B, followed up on, as we likely drove him crazy with anxiety filled texts. Steven S at the office ensured that we were scheduled for our repairs and any follow ups that came after. Ben’s hard work, Phillip's word, John's follow-through and the teamwork at Craftsmen all mattered! This experience has taught us that in the process of home repair and restoration (and I imagine in renovation too), you cannot let the idea of the perfect get in the way of the good. And Craftsmen delivers the goods! We have finally, and thankfully, come to the end of repairing our home! We 100% recommend Craftsmen if you are looking for a solid, local company that operates on principles of integrity and that goes the extra mile to ‘make it right.’ Craftsmen, like other companies following the hail event, met a different sort of storm—a storm of people needing repairs. The unusual circumstance meant that Craftsmen had to learn how to navigate a disaster event along the way. But as they learned best practices in the aftermath of our storm, they stood by their work. Now, as we stroll through our neighborhood, we often note how lucky we were to have made the best choice!
