  • Hale’s Tree Service
It went well, The trees and hedge in the back yard were a challenge to get to. They took down part of my fence and maneuvered a very large truck between my new screen porch and a shed. They were very skillful and polite. Their work looks great, and they cleaned up really well.

They are good. We have quite a bit of land and quite a bit of trees on the land. I will tell you those guys worked like you wouldn't believe. They were cleaning out old dead limbs and old dead trees all around the property line. And trimmed up the trees around the house. They do what they say they are going to do. Everyone on that crew are hard working people. And they clean up after themselves. He makes sure they don't even leave a cigarette butt on the property

Cleaned up really good when finished. Put tarps on driveway so any oil that might leak from equipment wouldn't get on driveway.

He is absolutely outstanding. He had came out before and gave me a quote. He told me that It would be cheaper for me to clean up and he would do the rest. He said he would do it, but It would be cheaper if I did the work. He is coming out again in a few weeks to do some more work.

Owner of the service arrived a half-hour after we called about a storm_damaged maple and advised us to call the city. He waited until the public works assessor came and told us the city would remove the tree because it fell on the sidewalk right of way. Before he left, the owner cut off some branches that were tangled with a nearby ornamental tree. No charge. There can't be too many tree surgeons who tell you how to have the job done for free, and throw in a quick trim of fallen branches too

I had a very large tree with four trunks, one of them fallen over the neighbor's fence. Gill's removed everything, down to the smallest branch, from both yards with no damage to the fence or my shed, which sat underneath a trunk of the tree. Within a few days they came back and removed the stump, as promised. This is the third time I've used this company and I have always been very pleased with their service and the charges. I plan to use them again in the spring for a smaller tree

Jon and Tim came by in a timely manner and gave me an estimate on the work to be done. I had a sugar maple tree close to the property line between my driveway and the neighbors yard that was so large the branches were hanging over and against the neighbor's carport. I was afraid it would need to come down, but they recommended trimming and shaping this tree. A larger water maple towered over the back of my detached garage and over a power line; they said they could trim this tree back also. In my backyard was a 50-year-old pine tree - huge- that had been damaged in an ice storm a few years ago; they gave me an estimate on taking this tree down and grinding out the stump. A week and half later they were here to do the job. They charged $300 for trimming the 1st maple. They spent nine hours trimming and disposing of limbs from the larger maple, lowering them to keep from hitting the garage or power lines and charged $600 for that tree. They also spent a whole day downing the pine tree; they had to dismantle a chain link fence to give the trunk a place to fall and then reassemble that afterwards. This tree was more expensive at $1,800, but I understand half of that cost was hauling off and paying to dispose of the trunk. They were timely, courteous, and charged exactly what they estimated the job to be. When I mentioned that I like to keep firewood on hand in case of emergency, they even cut a couple of the maple limbs into smaller sections and stacked them for me

From the time I called them for an estimate, to the time that they finished, they were very professional. The job was very difficult and required real professionals to do the job right. The tree that I needed taken down was huge and right next to my home. Just a couple of feet away. They did the job and left no sign that they were there with the exception of my missing tree. They were on time, were friendly and explained everything. I would have gladly paid more then what I paid. From start to finish there were no suprises. There may have been tree services who may have charged less, but I needed it done right, and Hale's Tree service did it right
