This becomes even more challenging if your walls aren’t plumb or your floors and ceilings aren’t perfectly level.

There are a few items that will make organizing and reorganizing your cabinets a breeze. Invest in some:

  • Rollout shelves

  • Drawer organizers

  • Bins to house cereal, pasta, and other pantry items

  • Lazy Susans for spices

We also advise hanging your pots and pans from the wall or ceiling to save valuable cabinet space. If this sounds daunting, hire a local professional organizer to get things in order.

Before making any big plans, climb up a step ladder and closely examine the top of your cabinets. You’ll get to see what sort of clean-up work needs to be done, but you can also check for any unexpected obstacles. Sometimes this space holds electrical boxes, wiring, or even plumbing components. So, what is a frameless cabinet versus a framed cabinet? The key difference is that framed cabinets have a 1½-inch face frame affixed to the cabinet box front, with doors installed onto this frame. In contrast, frameless cabinets lack a face frame. Instead, their doors are directly mounted onto the cabinet box.
