"Great, the couple who cleaned my drive way were very nice. The drive way looked great after. My husband is a mechanic, so we end up with lots of oil spots. Now my drive way look brand new. We have also used them to clean new cars that we get in. Old farm truckslook brand new after. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone."

"The entire transaction, from their responsiveness to getting a quote, to scheduling the appt, to them sending out a crew was so easy and professional! Franny, the woman who quoted and scheduled the job, was so professional and happy....she sold me on the job just by her demeanor. John was the leader of the crew and he could not have been more respectful and professional. If you need your gutters cleaned or windows washed, Task Force is your go-to! Will definitely hire again!"

"This company (secretary) informed us that the handyman "4 hour special" we requested was out of their service area, and that they are only conducting business in Johnson County; we are in Lee's Summit. She also stated they don't do maintenance and complete projects over $1000."

"Excellent service. I had expected there to be a delay in getting my mower back since I took it in at a busy time of year. No problem though. I got the mower back in 2 days. It was so clean I barely recognized it. I don't even see how it was running after I was shown the air filter that he took off and replaced.

"The service was great. There were no additional charges on top of the $159 Big Deal cost. Scheduling was fine. There wasn’t any problem. I just think that the carpet looked better than probably I had for a long time when I had other people clean it. They did a good job. I think I referred them to my daughter."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Soda-blasting systems are slightly more expensive than sandblasting systems. To soda blast, you’ll need to spend a few hundred dollars for a blast hose and nozzle, a compressed air supply, a blast generator, a moisture decontamination system, and sodium bicarbonate media, a recurring cost because the powder is not reusable. To start with sandblasting, you will need to spend upwards of $30 for a blast pot, a blast gun, an air compressor, and sandblasting media, many of which are recyclable—further reducing the cost. The total cost for either will depend on the size of the system.

There are two ways sandblasting could be dangerous: improper use of the equipment so that the stream touches your skin, and air particles created during the sandblasting process. While the first is easier to avoid and fairly obvious, the second has the potential to be more serious and is much more difficult to understand. This is why you should always hire a pro to sandblast, as they understand the dangers associated with the process. If proper safety measures are taken, then sandblasting is rarely dangerous.

Costs depend on surface material, labor, debris disposal, and the type of blasting media used.

Because these two systems have different applications, there is no definitive answer to which is better. When working with sturdy materials, sandblasting is cheaper and faster, but more delicate projects require soda blasting. Before choosing either option, consider your specific needs, particularly your ultimate goal (cleaning, removing rust, prepping for painting, etc.), the material, and your budget.

The best way to sand a deck is by cleaning it, sanding the boards and stairs with 60- or 80-grit sandpaper, and sanding the railings and posts with 80-grit sandpaper. You should sand in the direction of the wood grain to avoid damaging the timber. When sanding your deck, use medium pressure and aim for an even sand. Pressing too hard with a sander can damage decks, as most are softwoods.
