In my case they noticed we had a dehumidifier and a year later they ripped my wife off and sold her an over $2000 dehumidifier, and when I asked her to send it back they refused to take it back and now we're stuck with it so it seems, absolutely disgusting way of working."

If the damage results from a major storm in your area, flooding, a fire, or some other natural catastrophe, then you should consider filing a claim for the damage.
