"Stephan replied right away to our request to resurface our patio. The company who did the original work was of no help and did not return our calls. Stephan was professional, responsive and understood what we wanted. The patio is just as we had envisioned it. Great job! We will consider him for future work."

"Dave was very professional and prompt. He answered all of questions without hesitation which told us that he has been in the business for quite awhile. He takes his time and and thoroughly cleans up after his job is complete. I would definitely recommend him for pressure washing decks. He also does deck staining."

"When we reached out to J, we had funds for a room addition. He saw issues with the roof and left us contacts to it. His contact did a professional job at a reasonable price. In replacing our roof additional issues were found. By the time, these necessary corrections were made, our funds were too low for our desired room addition. J still looked out for us by monitoring our blueprint and keeping an eye on the work in progress. He is willing to work on our project, in steps as we have funds and is willing to let us do work to save money or use our own contacts for specific jobs. We have found J to listen, be conscientious, helpful, responsible, timely and pleasant. When we have the funds, we want J to finish our project."

Patios questions, answered by experts

The cost to screen in a porch depends on whether you are adding screens to an existing structure or building a new one from scratch. Adding screens to an existing porch costs about $5 to $7 per square foot, with a national average cost of around $2,800. For example, screening a 12-by-12-foot (144-square-foot) porch would likely cost between $700 and $1,000. If you are building a new screened-in porch, the cost is substantially higher. A new 12-by-12-foot screened-in porch can cost between $6,400 and $18,300, while a new 14-by-16-foot one averages around $11,000. The final price will vary based on the size of the porch, labor costs, and the materials you choose.

A deck is typically attached to a house and accessed via the back door. Decks are usually constructed from wood or composite materials. A terrace, on the other hand, is a raised platform that can be attached to or detached from the house and is typically made from a hard-paved material, such as paving stones. Terraces can be built on the ground or on the roof of a home.

Yes, enclosing a patio to create a sunroom or three-season room is often a good idea that adds value to your home. This project increases your home's usable square footage and creates a versatile space for relaxing or entertaining that is filled with natural light and can be used in various weather conditions. Homeowners may see an average return on investment (ROI) of around 70%. The final value added will depend on factors such as the quality of the materials, the level of finish, and the amount of yard space that remains after the enclosure.

By tailoring materials and colors to match architectural styles.

Building a sunroom can take anywhere from two weeks to six months. An average-sized sunroom typically takes between two and eight weeks to complete, but more elaborate or larger projects can take longer. The final timeline depends on factors such as the sunroom's size, features, structural requirements, type, and whether it's a retrofit or a new build from scratch.
