Furniture On Consignment has been Wichita's favorite furniture store for more than 20 Years - Featuring name brand NEW Furniture, Mattresses, Appliances and Electronics! In 1989 the store was started in a 10,000 sq ft showroom on Second and Cleveland. The business offered customers in the Wichita area an alternative hassle free way to sell their gently used furniture items. During our first year in business we also introduced new furniture closeout pieces direct from manufacturers. In 1990 the store was growing at such a pace that it was necessary to relocate to a larger facility. The new location was three times the size of the first location at 30,000 sq ft. located just west of Oliver on 13th Street. We are still here today! Our consignment department receives over 100 different items per week! You literally have to shop daily to be the first to see the new arrivals. Although consignment furniture is still a very viable part of our business, with over a 100 different items each week. The new furniture side has grown so much that the consignment part is less than one half of 1%. Today we display NEW furniture on our expanded 59,000 sq ft showroom from the world´s leading manufacturers. We also have 45,000 ft. of on site distribution facilities with over $4,000,000. of inventory ready for immediate delivery or pick up.

"TERRIBLE company. I would give ZERO stars if I could. We only used this company because it was who was through our home warranty company. Not sure why our home warranty company has them under contract. Terrible customer service. They are RUDE and have the worst customer service and communication skills. It has been 4 weeks since our service request and NOTHING has been done; part on back order, canceled appointments, no call backs after several calls and voicemails were left... We do have an appointment this afternoon that I am praying will fix our washing machine. This is the WORST company I have ever had to deal with and I warn others to NOT even bother. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Two thumbs down."

Not sure why our home warranty company has them under contract. Terrible customer service. They are RUDE and have the worst customer service and communication skills. It has been 4 weeks since our service request and NOTHING has been done; part on back order, canceled appointments, no call backs after several calls and voicemails were left...
