Terrible customer service, poor communication and owner yelled at me over the phone and hung up on me, AFTER I was promised to be contacted to reschedule a second appointment after they replaced the part with a faulty part. Terrible experience!

Our goal has always been and will continue to be to provide the best service at an affordable price to our customers. Mrs [Member Name Removed], My name is Christie Haynes, and my husband is Paul we our the owners of Affordable Appliance.I was in the office when you called yesterday and spoke to Paul. As you stated we had talked earlier in the week and you did request an hour heads up. I told you at that time we could only give a 30min. Notice at the most because we never know how long each stop will take,that keeps our technician from having to wait around between calls. I said if for some reason that the time would not work when he called we could reschedule. Again as you stated Scott the tech. Did try calling you several times but did not get an answer. Our policy is to always call first because we know our customers have busy lives and forgets about appointments. However Scott was in your area so he did go by your house. When you called the office to say that you missed the call we told you that it was not a problem we could get you back on the schedule for Saturday. That should have been the end of the conversation, but you went on trying to engage in an argument. As you stated you called and spoke to Paul 3 times. Paul tried several times to end the conversation and even told you that he did not want to be disrespectful and hang up on you but we did have other customers waiting on hold. Paul told you if you were not happy with the service you might try another company and still you called back 2 more times tying up our phone lines trying to engage in an argument. Our company prides ourself in supplying quality service at an affordable price so that our customers will not only call us again but they will tell all of their family and friends about us. Mrs.[Member Name Removed] at this point you have only been charged a service call which was $32.20 even though our tech. Spent over an hour replacing the bearings in your washer.moving forward we suggest you try another company."

I was told when I made the appointment that I would be called between 9-12 on Thursday. I was called shortly after 9 by Vince that he was on his way and would soon be at my residence. Before I was hardly dressed (I had been up but am a lounger) he was in the driveway. He came in and asked a few questions as he started unscrewing things. The dog and I got out of his way. Next thing I knew he had a diagnosis for me and how much it was going to cost. In my case a couple of things were wrong. He called to see if parts were available at the warehouse. They were. He left to get them, and said he was stopping to get gas, as well. He wasn't gone anytime at all. Came back in and installed the new parts and put the machine back together. I heard him run some water to make sure it was working OK. Then he hunted me down and explained what he did and he presented the bill and I paid him. ALL IN AN HOUR. AMAZING. I just ran my first load post-fix. Everything's great!

Scott was great! He was running a little late and called to let me know. He found the problem and not only fixed it but checked air flow to make sure I didn't need to have someone out to work on the exterior vent itself. He was friendly, professional, and very nice to work with. Have an ice maker in need of repair and will definitely hire Affordable again!!

They came out the same day I called. The technician called me to tell me he was on his way. It was a simple repair, and he was in and out quickly. Unfortunately the replacement part just happened to be bad right out of the box, and my oven was down again the next day. I called as soon as they opened, and he came back out and replaced the bad part. Again, very quickly. We had a fridge that was not cooling and we wanted to know if it was worth fixing. The $10 trip fee made it worth my while to check. If the trip fee was what other companies generally charge I would not have called. It was nice to have the come out to tell me that the fridge is toast, and not worth the cost of repairs, for an arm and a leg.

Vince came right on time, diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. The part came in when he said it would and for the price quoted! When it came to changing the part out he was in and out quickly (took washer apart and put back together neatly both times). Now it works great! Wonderful experience all around.

They asked me specific questions, and eventually they said the only problems were going to be as expensive as a new fridge. So instead of coming out and charging me, they told the truth and that was the end. That's integrity. So very very rare these days.

Scott and his colleague were honest, friendly and personable. They arrived within the allotted time and assessed the 'problem' within 30 seconds; that the clothes dryer was in good working order. The problem was the dryer vent hose was scrunched up behind the dyer therefore not allowing for air flow! Not being a technical person, they could have told me anything and I'd have believed it. They were also concerned that I was battling pneumonia. Amazing chaps! Would absolutely recommend this company. Many thanks.

Excellent service. Was early for appointment time. Did call in advance. Service technician was friendly, polite, knew exactly what was wrong with my washer after I told him what it was doing. Laundry room was left as clean as when he arrived. If there was a A+++ rating, I would have given that rating. Cannot say enough positive about this experience.
