"Job included minor drywall repair in kitchen soffit and to a lace ceiling, and painting of repairs (and two extra rooms and trim), and our entryway wall and trim as well as the stairway walls and trim (to the top of the stairs). The drywall repairs were seamlessly done, and the painting of the repairs and spraying of lace ceiling very good. We know that lace ceiling repairs are hard to match, but these are nearly flawless match. The painting of the other rooms (dining and parlor), were completed with the same professionalism, quality, and care for my property as the repairs in the kitchen. Mario was quick to respond to questions and very responsive with changes made at the last minute. The job took 3 days. I highly recommend Reyes Painting to everyone reading this review. I am very critical of work I pay for, and Reyes delivered."

The degree to which you include bold colors in your mid-century modern design is all about personal preference. You should repaint the interior of your house every 2 to 7 years, depending on which room needs repainting and how it's used.  High-traffic areas like hallways, kitchens, and bathrooms need more frequent repainting—typically every 2 or 3 years. Living rooms and dining rooms, which you may use less frequently, can go as long as 5 to 7 years or even longer before they need to be repainted.

You'll need at least two coats of paint when painting your stair railings, despite some manufacturers' claims of single-coat coverage. This is necessary mostly because there are often many corners and details that make it difficult to cover all surfaces evenly with a single coat. Adding a second coat evens out the finish and provides added durability.
