Brian's Painting

I had an appointment for Brian to give me a quote. He didn’t show up. When I called him he told me he had forgotten about the appointment and would be there in 20 minutes. He then texted me this message copied and pasted below! This is Brianspainting.. I will have to pass on your project .. I'm booked up until end of September. Sorry.

Brian was responsive, prompt, and an excellent painter! Absolutely are planning to use Brian again!

Brian sent a crew to first power wash the house. My wife arrived at home to find water inside dripping down the windows and and the floors. I contacted Brian to told him they need to stop and see what is happening (I was out of town so my wife had to deal with the mess and crew) (Brian never did show up after this incident although he continued to text me that he would be there tomorrow....) Brian's immediate reaction was I had a window issue and he has done this many times and never had this issue. His crew were inches from the house with a power washer ( you can see in one of the close up pictures that they damage some wood trim from being so close) I contacted a window company and they looked at the windows found not signs of past leaks or damage and did not feel that much water got into the walls and there would be not issue. However they did say that it was the close power washing that caused the water to push through small crack and into the house and that they should not use the high pressure around the windows. I passed this along to Brian but he continues to insist I have bad windows. If he would have shown up as he promised he could have heard this from the window company but he failed to show up or call me to say he would not show up, this after he text me "I will be there in the morning". He claims I was setting him up for an insurance claim. I did call my insurance company to see if there was an issue if it was covered and what I should do. I had the issue looked at and determined it was not a big issue and no claim was submitted. I was information gathering as I'm sure most home owners would do when you get a call from your wife that we have water coming in the windows! After that I attempted to contact Brian and get him to come out and discuss and get this project going as he had powered washed about 40% of the house and it looks like crap and needs finished. Brian would not respond to texts and then claimed he left his phone at home. He finally text me that with weather he is about two weeks behind but weather permitting might be out next week. Half way into the next week I text him to get an idea of when he would be out. No response.... So I send an email asking the same. His response is your deposit is in the mail I took a job in Canada and can't get to your house until July! I had high hopes as he did do a good job on the interior painting he did. But I guess if I would have looked deeper into his reviews I would have seen other reviews with issues of failure to respond and seen this coming.

Great, on time was concerned the trim color did not match and asked me to look. His eye was spot on and he went and purchased the proper color on his time and dime to make sure we were 100% happy! He did a great job patching and skim coating a few rough areas.

Brian is very good at his job. On time. Finished when he said he would.

Brian did a good job and easy to work with. Would hire again with no hesitation.

Brian and his staff were very efficient and worked non-stop until they had completed the job. He even helped my wife make a better decision on trim color. The job looks great

They actually did my brother's great room and kitchen before we decided to give them a try. They were very punctual and professional. I was pleasantly surprised when I came home from work the first day expecting only the prep work to be done, to find the first coat on the walls. They were very good about going back over areas that I wanted touched up.
We will recommnd him to our friends and will use him again!!!

Very refreshing vendor to deal with. Adjusted his schedule as best he could to meet our demands to have our new construction painted prior to Thanksgiving. I would not only HIGHLY recommend Brian; but, I've no doubt I'd use again.  Inspiring to see that customer service and quality of work can still work hand in hand. Thanks Brian!

Brian was extremely courteous, professional, responsible, and efficient.  I received a call from him just a few hours after I left him a message, and he came to our house within the next few days to give a quote.  We found his quote fair and reasonable.  Brian was able to squeeze us into his schedule to get our exterior painted before the winter months set in. In fact, he had a break in his schedule and came to do our job earlier than anticipated; for that, we were very grateful.
Brian and his team were professional, courteous, and unobtrusive. I felt completely comfortable having them in the house while I was away.  Brian went out of his way to make sure the job was done right, and he also gave us lots of advice and tips for a few DIY painting projects we were about to tackle.
His responsiveness far exceeded that of any other contractor we have worked with in the past.  He communicated promptly  via text, email, and phone call. We always knew when he was going to show up, and he kept us appraised of the progress of the projects.
I would recommend Brian without hesitation.

On the work Brian did - it was fantastic. He was punctual and efficient.  The work was great.  He is personally engaging.
 The fact that he said he wanted to do the exterior stain - and then did not follow up after calling him a couple of times was frustrating.  Even if he had contacted to me to let me know he was no longer interested, that would have been helpful.  Then I could have started making other arrangements sooner.

He contacted me back promptly, and started and finished the job on schedule and on budget. I will be using him again on other projects in the future. Thanks you, Brian for a job well done.

Brain, was very professional & responsive from my very first contact with him throughout the entire job.  Came out & gave me an accurate, reasonable estimate along with time frame & how it would be done.  I have a large great room & bedroom with vaulted popcorn ceilings.  I was concerned for them to even try to be painted as I have heard it could be a real mess with the popcorn finish falling all off and was told by others to just remove the popcorn which I could not afford to have done at this time.  Brian came out & did the job without any problems that I could see.  The ceilings look great.  He completed the job in less time that I expected & I'll be sure to call him again for any other paint jobs I may have, as well as recommend him to my friends & family.
