I have used Bordermans numerous times. Their price is high but and I keep going back to them because they know what they are doing to my Volkswagen. The quality of the job is very good.and I will continue using them.

They do a wonderful job. They are honest and very professional.

They make it look like new, can't tell there was any damage. Their customer service has been good. This is the third time I unfortunately had to use them but every time I have been totally satisfied with them.

My car was side-swiped. Voderman's told me I needed a new rear quarter, a new door, a new door skin, a new fender and two reconditioned wheels (as did the insurance adjuster). When the work was nearly complete and I asked about the new rear quarter and fender I was then told that they repaired the quarter and the fender instead of replacing them but not to worry about excess body filler because they had "the best body man in the city". The price was the same, however. So instead of getting new parts, which is what I requested and what they told me they'd do, and what the insurance adjuster recommended, they just repaired the damaged parts. I then asked about the reconditioned wheels. Dave Voderman said he'd check on them and the car would be ready in two days. Two days later when I went to pick up the car they hadn't replaced the wheels with reconditioned ones as quoted or recommended. The original wheels were still on the car and they still had the black scuff marks and scratches from the accident. He told me that it was from mounting the tires on the wheels. I told him that it was clear that was not the case, that no work had been done to these tires/wheels and that this was the original damage from the accident. He told me to come back in a couple days and he'd have the wheels painted. (I had previously endorsed the insurance check over to Vorderman's.) Mr Vorderman received payment in full from the insurance company for new parts and quoted new parts but instead repaired damaged parts. He claimed it was just as costly to repair parts as it was to replace them and he resubmitted a new invoice to the insurance company with the new bill being within a few dollars of the original quote. The work was not performed as I requested or as they quoted to me when they inspected the vehicle. This experience was a headache every step of the way. I was shocked by my experience at Dave Vorderman's Auto Body because I had previously heard good things about the shop. I even chose his shop over two others whose quotes were much less because I just wanted the best repair possible.

The paint job is stunning. The hood and fenders look better than new and yet you can't see any differentiation between old and new paint. I've seen the results of the inexpensive paint shops and Vordermans nailed this with a glassy smooth finish that looks outstanding.
