"This is a picture of only part of the job. These floors were very water damaged and golden/honey oak. 2 young guys sanded, repaired and stained. The floors are incredible! Many other jobs needed to be done. The entire Apex crew did exceptional work! We continued to add jobs as they went and they stayed very patient with each request we made. The communication was exceptional. Emails and texting communication was almost everyday. We were informed of every detail of the jobs and made aware of anything new etc.. these guys went above and beyond to get it all done. David Wilson kept the entire thing running smooth as different jobs required different workers to come and go. I can’t recommend them enough!!"

"It went very slowly!  The owner himself was here, but he took too long to do everything.  In 4 hours time he moved one outlet from a post over to an external wall.  There wasn't any cutting into the wall or anything.  It was simply moving the external outlet...this shouldn't have taken long at all.  The installation of the new screen door to our porch took the longest.  He had at least 3 hours & it took him the entire time!  Granted he had to move a few boards to make the new door fit, but there is no way it should take 3+ hours  to install a screen door.  I was very disappointed in the amount of time it took.  I had another item that needed looked at, but he didn't have time.  I also believe that he tightened the hinges too much & now the door doesn't even close by itself very well.  Muno is very knowledgeable & friendly.  I would think that if you offer a contractor for 4 hours you would try to get as much done for the homeowner as possible so they will hire you again.  Normally they get paid by the hour, so to me, I would not hire them because everything takes too long & would cost me more money that necessary.

"The result is outstanding and beautiful in terms of quality and appearance. Wallpaper removal and wall prep had to be done before another contractor could do additional work as part of an extensive remodeling project on our 50 year old house. Wallpapering needed to be done after the other contractor completed work to eliminate any risk of nicks or dings to the new wallpaper since the other contractor needed to carry a lot of debris and new material throughout the house to complete his part of the remodeling. Mr. Baker coordinated well with the other tradesmen as needed. The wallpaper removal, wall prep and new wallpaper hanging was not easy for several reasons. Mr. Baker had the skill, experience, and craftsmanship to overcome all the obstacles. Wallpaper removal was difficult because the existing wallpaper had been installed 30 years ago, and not in a way that made removal straightforward. Mr. Baker was able to remove the wallpaper and prep the walls so that removal and replacement of drywall was not necessary. When wall prep was finished, the wall surfaces were good enough to paint if we had opted to paint instead of paper, and we did have painting done in the bathroom that was remodeled that previously had wallpaper. Hanging the new wall paper was not so easy either. The kitchen wallpaper we purchased was apparently quite old. Mr. Baker fine tuned how he installed it so it would dry and lay flat in spite of being old. The wallpaper he installed in the remainder of the house was in better condition, but has a complicated, delicate floral pattern which he was able to match perfectly at the seams. To a large extent, you cannot even see the seams due to the high quality of his work. We also wanted to install a custom mural from a photograph in one area, and he advised us where to get the mural made which we did. He installed the mural and it looks very good."
