I asked to change the terms so that, for example, they would not be allowed to do additional work without first notifying me and if either party had to sue the other the prevailing party would be entitled to recover attorney's fees. (Their contract only allows them to recover attorney's fees.) However, Mike told me that their contract terms are non-negotiable."

I except cash or check with half due for materials up front and the remainder to be paid at the end unless it is a complete restoration at that time we will discuss how it will be broken down during and threw out the project.
