Burgdorf and he got back with me in a day or two. He came at the specified time to measure and explain how the work would be done. Sent me an estimate within a week, which I accepted. He was so busy I had to wait until late August, early September for the work to be done. I was always kept informed as to times they would be coming. The crew sawed through a return line to the pool and fixed it promptly. It really wasn't their fault as I wasn't sure how deep the line was buried underground. They did a wonderful job of breaking up the concrete around the deep end of the pool right up to the coping edge. Very little ended up in the pool. Easy cleanup. The driveway was widened 6' and they repositioned my mailbox too. The walk was widened as I had wanted, and a slight curve was added as well. We also had a new pad poured at the front doors. It took the better part of a week for all the work to be done. I have no complaints about the work or the crew or L. Burgdorf. Everyone was very pleasant and professional. I'm thinking about having a back yard sidewalk put in and Burgdorf will be who I choose. He was recommended to me by some neighbors he had done work for. It was very expensive but very well done."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/in/evansville/larry-burgdorf-concrete-inc-reviews-5077724.htm"},"position":4},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"Ron Lindauer","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"IN","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Sandra H."},"reviewBody":"Ron and his group installed and in ground pool at our home. Bigger problems began in a few weeks when, during the first rain after the job completion, water was running behind the gutters, along the underside of the porch, and pooling on the back side of the porch. PMG came out and did some caulking that they thought would solve the problem. The next rain proved differently, with gutter leaks still running under the porch. At about the same time, a wet spot developed on the ceiling in our living room, directly under the roof valley where the new porch roof was attached to the existing house roof. PMG chose to contract with a third-party roofer to reroof the porch but, couldn't provide a time the job would be completed. We requested a tarp be placed on our roof to prevent any further damage, which stayed on our roof for a month or more. The new roofing was finally completed December 9th, three months after the original job was \"completed\". Unfortunately there were still gutter issues after the new roofing. My gutters had a leaf diverter screen which I allowed PMG to remove because they said it was responsible for the gutters not working correctly. They also inspected our attic to determine no further water damage had occurred and sprayed KILZ on the stained area of our living room ceiling. They performed some additional caulking and installed a water diverter on the gutter. Again, unfortunately, with rains just before Christmas, we experienced gutter leaking and I called PMG to come out and see the problem. They indicated there was no one available to come out and look. As a matter of fact, they have never come to our home during a rain to see the problems. They have never checked with us after any of their fixes to see if the problems were resolved. I'm still waiting for a satisfactory resolution from PMG."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/in/evansville/pmg-tree-and-landscaping-reviews-6283121.htm"},"position":6},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"AUDUBON ANIMAL HOSPITAL","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"IN","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"Christina W."},"reviewBody":"I called the Audubon Animal Hospital on Thursday morning regarding a spot close to my dog's eye and a weight issue he has. The receptionist was very helpful (I'm a bit of a difficult pet mother) and understanding. She was able to schedule me for 10:30am Friday morning. The office lobby is clean, open, and very dog friendly (nothing on the floor to get leashes tangled in, the benches are against the wall and are spaced out so if your pet needs a little breathing room, it's not a problem).
We were escorted into a small, clean exam room at 10:25. Dr. Kunze came in right at 10:30. He spoke to me for a few minutes and held his hand out for my dog to sniff. As soon as my dog showed a hint of fear, Dr. Kunze was very good about not reaching for his face (despite needing to examine his eye), and careful not to put him in a position where he would be more afraid (like against the door), My dog is an extra large breed, so he didn't get to sit on the table. :) Dr. Kunze was very reassuring about my dog's weight issues, and his eye. He explained the process for neutering (I was worried about the anesthesia and how long he would be under).
We had a heartworm test done (it was overdue, and he had gotten a few mosquito bites). When he went to draw blood, it was very quick, and he was very kind to my dog, despite my dog being kind of a jerk about it. He explained how a dog could contract heartworms, the benefits of different medications, and exactly how it works. He explained the effects of the medication on him (the concern being his weight). I'm a worrier and my dog is my only and quot;babyand quot;, so to speak. The more information I have, the better I feel and Dr. Kunze really put my mind at ease.
We will never use another vet. Dr. Kunze will be our vet for as long as he's in driving distance. The entire office was wonderful, from reception to vet."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ky/owensboro/audubon-animal-hospital-reviews-5418884.htm"},"position":7},{"@type":"ListItem","item":{"@type":"LocalBusiness","name":"ESCO CONCRETE INC","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressRegion":"IN","addressCountry":"US"},"review":{"@type":"Review","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"William H."},"reviewBody":"After he was done, the coping wasn't really fixed (his response was that it was at least better than it had been); he said it was the best that could be done. He came out and did a quick fix but it only lasted about week. I didn?t feel like hassling with it, so I paid him. Within a short period of time a good-size chunk of the back part of concrete broke off and started chipping around the anchor. The gap in the seam between the new and old concrete was large. It finally started to sink. He also dumped the leftover concrete waste on my property. When I talked to Rene about it, he said he didn?t think he could make me happy. The company who came out to fix the work said it was substandard concrete; they replaced two sections for $1000 and had to remove all of Rene's work. The coping and coupler looked as good as it did when the pool was first build; the anchor and seams were perfect. Rene had given me the impression that it couldn't be done any better than his shoddy work but this company did a perfect job."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/pa/morrisville/esco-concrete-inc-reviews-2968488.htm"},"position":8}]}

Christian Construction The name of this company could not be further from the truth. My experience with them has not been Christian like. I purchased a swimming pool from them on June 17, 2019 and included a large down payment $15,000. The total cost was over $40,000. The project dragged on...

"My handrails had been dinged from the hailstorm in May. This pro came to see what needed to be done, gave me an estimate of the cost to redo these by sanding, spray painting with primer, and the material cost. When he showed up as promised, he covered all the exposed portions of the porch with plastic and cardboard to avoid unwanted paint smears. The handrails look almost new and that is amazing since they are original to the house and have been painted many times. Very professional."

FAQs for pool table assembly projects in Newburgh, IN
The average cost to hire a handyman ranges from about $40 to $140 per hour. Average project cost ranges between $180 and $700, but the cost per hour and per project depends heavily on the type, size, and complexity of the project. The pro’s experience level and your location also factor into how much a handyman charges per hour or per project. You can also expect to pay higher rates or additional fees for emergency services, or around periods of high customer demand, like holidays.
Tipping a handyman is not a requirement or necessarily expected, as they should build a fair wage into the price of the job. However, some people will tip a handyman around $10 to $20 per hour or the equivalent of a day’s pay, depending on the size of the job. But it’s up to your discretion. There are no set rules for tipping a handyman service, but if they did a great job and you’re so inclined to tip, it’s encouraged and will likely be received with thanks.
Do you have any before and after photos of your work?
How long have you been doing this kind of work?
Do you clean up and dispose of waste when the job is finished?
Yes, you should hire a handyman who’s licensed, certified, and insured, if possible. States have different requirements for handyman licensing, registration, and certifications. If licensing is required in your area, you may pay more for a licensed handyman with experience than one who is not licensed or certified, but you’re likely to get a better end result for your project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local handymen guidelines.
