Hoosier Woodworker

Hoosier Woodworker has done several jobs for me in the past. From creating custom cabinets, making new doors and matching the stain for my existing cabinets to baseboard and door casing. I hired them to rip out an existing door along with the jamb and casing and replacing them with new stained wood and door. They did a wonderful job and We couldn't be happier with the results. We really enjoy interacting with Jerry and appreciate his diligence, shill and conversation skills. He always looks for ways to help and brings ideas as to options that we may not have thought of. We would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to anyone needing custom carpentry, cabinets, or any wood related job.

Jerry was amazing! He made a custom cabinet to fit into a large open space in a wall of existing built-in display shelves/cabinets in our living room. He even custom made the doors and trim and they match exactly with the pre-existing cabinets beside them. Every detail is perfect and we couldnâ t be happier! We will definitely use him again!

Jerry was a Perfectionist! He worked on our basement stairs and made them safer and made them look so much nicer in the design. We were very pleased with Jerry and would use him again on our next project.

Superb customer service and excellent woodworking skills. We have had two custom bathroom vanities built and a kitchen table that needed to be reworked. I just had Jerry Smith, the Hoosier Woodworker, reface my kitchen cabinets. He made new doors and painted them and all the drawer fronts. He did a wonderful job. His craftsmanship was outstanding. I was especially pleased with all the labor he put in reinstalling everything. He was great to work with and completed the work on our agreed schedule.

Jerry did an amazing job on the table he refinished for us. He was very helpful, he was a great man to work with and very reassuring and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend him. I tried to post a picture of the table. It is beautiful.

Jerry replaced all the hinges and cabinet hardware on my oak cabinets. This required filling in the holes from the demountable hinges that were removed. I was completely amazed at how well he was able to fill the holes, match the stain, and even add the grain detailing you see in oak cabinets! His work was beyond anything I thought was possible! Jerry is a complete professional and his craftsmanship is beyond excellent!

First class quality and craftsmanship. Jerry custom built 2 vanities for our bathroom remodel that are perfect. He worked with us to get the color just right so the grain was still visible. Would highly recommend for any wood working project.
