"Very nice and efficient guys. I was able to get the inspection within a couple days of contacting them. They were very informative about the treatment process, answered all of my questions and kept me informed on what they were doing as they completed the termite treatment process. "NOT TERMITES, but RACCOON LATRINE! The tech was GREAT; however, she checked with her regional manager and I would have to have the house rewired (some of it upstairs is tube and wire) before they could begin cleaning up the raccoon poop, etc., and then sanitize, and do insulation. p.s. Two other insulation companies, who wouldn't do the cleanup of raccoon poop, etc., would not do insulation unless the house was rewired."

For larger infestations, it may take at least a week to see a noticeable drop in activity, since not all roaches are exposed at once.

While keeping any critter away permanently isn’t always possible, you can keep mice away from your home by setting traps, fumigating your space, and sealing known entry points. Once you’ve taken these steps, take time to work on prevention measures, such as clearing out all clutter and recyclables and removing all food sources.

Scented mouse deterrents, like peppermint oil, can be effective in the short term. The pungent smells may temporarily repel mice, but they lose effectiveness as the scent fades or mice get used to it. Rats are attracted to homes that provide food, water, and shelter. Common attractants include uncovered garbage, pet food left out overnight, crumbs and food spills, and easily accessible pantries. They’re also lured in by leaky pipes, standing water, and cluttered areas like basements or garages. Outdoor factors such as overgrown vegetation or woodpiles near the foundation can create additional nesting opportunities.
