TOLER PEST CONTROL

I have used Toler Pest Control for over four years and could not be more pleased with their service, their work and their prices. This small, family-owned company is terrific--they show up when they say they will, they can answer any questions you have about insects or other pests, they work efficiently and their prices are extremely reasonable. Reliable, knowledgeable, efficient, responsive, friendly and reasonably priced--it doesn't get any better.

The nest was good sized, with angry bald faced wasps flying in and out. Ken came toward the end of the day, explained what he was going to do and then set about his work. The nest and the wasps were gone in no time, with no return. Ken was great!

I first used this company in the last 70s when the father was a little energizer bunny. I had called a few years ago when I thought I had termites and found they no longer did termites. So when I found damage A couple days I thought it was termites and instead of calling them called one of the bigger companies. Major mistake. Their diagnosis was carpenter ants, and was told I needed termite treatment, even though I did not have termites. The logic was that sometimes you might have one if you had the other. In addition to a cost of $1100 and $160 yearly they were going to drill into grout on tile back poarch. There was no guarantee. After much research with google I discovered that termite treatment was not the standard for carpenter ants, but a bait and barrier treatment was. They then offered me a treatment with one time single bait station, three months in a row service call and quarterly treatment with the total being $450. Called toler, and believe it or not he came out late afternoon this same day. Within a couple minutes he found water damage above windows on poarch which was causing water to run under siding. Found the carpenter ants. Treatment at this time would not resolve the problem. I need a contractor to fix the water issue and repair the damage. Yes the damage is worse than I thought but he identified the problem, and told me treatment is not going to work until I fix the poarch water issue first. Then, and only then I need to chemically treat and put up oil barrier. Cost of visit $45. Yes I have to hire contractor, but not only did he identify cause of my issue but told me how to permantly resolve issue. Told me how to do repair or what it would cost for them to chemically treat, $300-500. The termite treatment would not have been effective, and to treat with the other companies bait and yearly treatment would not work until I removed what they were eating and seal it up. If I had taken the first companies approach the problem would have gotten larger and more costly in addition to spending money with no effective return. This is a family owned business, not a prepackaged product. He listened to what I needed and explained in a manner I understood. After minimal sleep worrying about this last nite I have numbers and information to make the correct decision. I would recommend this company.

Jeff has been servicing our home and office for over 20 years. We have been extremely pleased with he and Ken's work. If you need anything they are only a phone call away.

Came and took care of a wasp nest I had in my porch. Very reasonable with price. Other companies had quoted me 200.00 to remove it, outrageous. I will use Toler again.
