Carmel had a bunch of extra requirements but eventually we got the permit with extra additions and Maynor himself did a great job handling the changes and keeping us in the loop! Separately he repainted our front porch including stabilizing a porch post that had some rot at the base. Paul and his crew were polite, efficient, professional, and did excellent work. Everything was thoroughly repaired and prepared rather than just putting a pretty face over it. We were always informed of our options, what would happen, and when. We have no hesitation about recommending them."

"Marcos from Lara painting was recommended from a few former neighbors and I have used his company multiple times. He is very responsive, punctual, works efficiently, and cares very much about the quality of his work and ensuring his customers are happy. For my most recent jobs, he painted the ceiling under my deck and stained the wood under the stairs of my composite deck. The stain color he selected was a perfect match and I couldn't be happier. He also painted a chalkboard accent wall in my daughter's room. I would highly recommend Lara painting and will use them for my future painting needs."

"I hired Wood Renovation to power wash and stain my deck as well as replace some rotted boards. They did a good job replacing the boards, but they also missed a rotted board, which was not replaced. They did a good job power washing and staining the floor of the deck, but they only used one coat of solid stain on the floor, which was not enough. The Sherwin Williams stain they used even says to use two coats. The ornamental caps that sit on top of the balusters were covered with old, chipping paint, and they did not sand them prior to staining. The owner, Steve, indicated that he normally doesn't include sanding in a bid, but he did come out and try to sand off some of the chipping paint. They also used a paint sprayer for the deck railings, which did not completely cover any of the railings and instead got on my landscaping. I had to have Steve come back out two different times to touch up every railing. Fortunately, he was very nice and accommodating about it. Overall, the quality of the work was not worth $996."

"Upon uncovering a leak during a rain, I emailed Maximus Contracting through Angie's List. They were my 3rd email sent but the previous 2 had other things going on and couldn't accommodate the 1-2 day appointment I needed to prevent further leak damage. Eric (Owner) was very responsive and responded to my email quickly. Upon return call, he said he could have someone there that day. Leo arrived and immediately assessed the situation and explained the required repairs to me. Upon his call to Eric and then Eric's call to me to discuss the repair cost, I was very satisfied with the agreed-to price. Eric even had Leo caulk the vent above the garage with no increase in cost. Leo left to get materials and returned in about 20 minutes. The actual repairs took him about 1.5 hours and after cleaning up, he was there for about 3 hours. The weather looked like rain and it did rain that evening and the next day, so I am grateful to Eric for answering my email and acting promptly. I will go back to Maximus General Contracting for any future home repairs.
