"I had Allen's Tree Service come out to remove a large tree branch that fell on and into my pool. They had a large crew, and removed the limb quickly. I was impressed with the steps they took to prevent my pool from getting any additional damage. They also skimmed the debris off the pool cover, and their cleanup had the yard looking better than before the branch fell."

I am an aspiring entrepreneur in landscaping and have been cutting grass since 2008. This summer season of 2026 I’ve decided to go into business locally hoping to build my profile and a reputation the competition won’t be able to compare to because of detail. I have experience installing paver edging, trimming hedges, mulch bed clean ups, and buried gutter downspouts. WillDoIt service aims for curb appeal but assures better than before with attention to detail and prioritized customer care.

"Kris quoted a price that I found reasonable and detailed the work that would be done. He began as soon as the weather allowed. He took time to talk to us about how to trim the tree in the play area for our grandchildren. It was clear that Kris was concerned with all aspects of the job. He trimmed up a few trees for us that were not in the original quote for free. The cleanup upon completion was well done. I found my experience with Crafted Tree Care to be a great experience. I highly recommend the company."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Yes, it’s possible to overwater a newly-planted tree. Daily watering is great for the first few weeks, but it’s important not to go overboard. Excessive watering can lead to various problems, including root rot, fungal diseases, and a lack of root development.

If you don’t stake a tree that needs support, it could be at greater risk of being damaged or failing completely, whether it uproots or falls over. That could cause damage to your property or other surrounding trees. If you want to grow healthy trees, you may need to stake them for best results.

Most trees can be successfully transplanted while they are young, but pines, walnuts, and some oak tree varieties are more difficult to move because their root systems grow deeper than most other trees. Also, trees adapted to sandy soil with wide root systems like beeches, willows, and aspens are harder to dig out because their roots spread much farther out from the trunk. In these cases, unless the trees are very young and small, it’s a good idea to consult a tree planting professional.

The best tool to cut trees is a chain saw. You can adjust your chain saw to the correct size based on the size of the branches, offering you the fastest and cleanest cut for medium- to large-sized trees. Depending on the type of chainsaw you use, you can cut through larger trees than you would with a more manual tool like an ax.

It can be bad to leave a dead stump in the ground. A stump becomes a hefty piece of dead wood in time and eventually (especially with the help of rain) starts to rot. That makes it a locus point for diseases and pesky insects, as well as a bit of an eyesore. It’s best to remove a tree stump completely before it starts to decay, especially before it starts to fall apart. If the tree was removed because of disease, it’s even more important to fully remove the stump if possible.
