Customers say: Quick response

"I had to have over 6 trees removed and over 20 odd stumps ground and removed. I could not have asked for a better company to complete the job. Victor was super nice and very reasonable for the amount of work he had to complete over two full days with several people working at my property. I had a 35+ foot tree that was dying from the top down and he brought in the bucket truck to make sure that both my house and his crew were safe. I could not recommend this company any more than I do - I plan to bring them back out to trim my trees in the future and to remove a few other trees I didn't have them work on this time around. Highly recommend."

I am an aspiring entrepreneur in landscaping and have been cutting grass since 2008. This summer season of 2026 I’ve decided to go into business locally hoping to build my profile and a reputation the competition won’t be able to compare to because of detail. I have experience installing paver edging, trimming hedges, mulch bed clean ups, and buried gutter downspouts. WillDoIt service aims for curb appeal but assures better than before with attention to detail and prioritized customer care.

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Generally, you’ll want to avoid pruning more than 25% of the tree’s canopy at one time. While pruning your tree is important, it’s possible to do it too often or to go too far. Again, this is why hiring a tree trimming pro to do the work is wise. However, if you do decide to DIY, going slow and trimming gradually is the name of the game.

You will know that an oak tree needs to be removed when you see vertical cracks or dead branch stubs, which indicate internal decay. Other signs include trunk rot near the base of the tree and sprouts or small branches coming from the trunk.

Aside from removing dead or diseased branches, you should prune your trees somewhere between every one and three years. Some people—particularly commercial farmers—prune their apple trees yearly to produce higher yields. This is the best way to promote tree health. That said, the average homeowner can get away with hard-pruning their mature apple tree every other year or every three years.

The safest way to cut down a tree is to make sure you’re completely prepared and have done all the necessary safety checks, including double-checking your equipment is in good working order, you have plenty of clearance to fell the tree, you’re wearing all the safety gear, and you have a partner to help you (who should also be wearing safety gear).

After a big storm, you may not be sure if a tree was struck or not. Look for the telltale long scars, like strips or gouges in the bark of the tree, running in sometimes jagged lines down the length of the trunk. These scars will often show vulnerable living wood inside the tree. It’s also common to see scorched or wilted leaves on the side or top of the tree where lightning struck.
