Since 2013, the professionals of Summers have been proud to serve the Fort Wayne community from our central location. We, however, have been around much longer than that. In fact, our family-owned company is backed by more than four decades of industry experience! From heating to cooling to plumbing to indoor air quality, we can provide a wide range of superior and affordable services. SERVICES THAT WE PROVIDE As an HVAC and plumbing company, we are proud to meet the needs of our Fort Wayne neighbors in a wide variety of ways. From helping protect your basement from flood damage with a sump pump to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a water heater, we can do it all. We are primarily focused on serving residential needs, but we do have a light focus on commercial customers in the local area.

Additional DBAs - Renewed Spirit LLC, Bruce Griffin Legacy Heating & Air Conditioning . Family owned & operated. Additional contact names - Steve Wright & Bruce Griffin. Cost is determined by the job. Award winning.

"While their installation went well, their customer service is awful. Almost 1 year later, I get a bill for a service charge even though their tech said it will be waive by buying the central air conditioner. I had to call 2 separate times arguing with them to get it corrected. The VP Steve was not as helpful as you think he would be. I would not recommend to anyone."

Heating Oil questions, answered by experts

Most HVAC companies charge a flat service call fee of between $75 and $150, which includes traveling to your home and inspecting your system to find the underlying problem. Keep in mind that these prices only include diagnostics and the actual repairs will usually be billed separately. If you’re calling for routine service, the service call will be included in your inspection and tune-up, with the total sitting around $150. Your prices could be a little higher if you have a very large home with multiple condensers and air handlers, as inspections and servicing take longer.

While it's generally safe to stay in a home with a coolant leak if your home is properly ventilated, it's important to have a professional come out to assess the situation right away. You should evacuate your home if you notice any powerful fumes. Additionally, you should leave your home if you are experiencing headaches or dizziness.

An evaporator or swamp cooler is a common alternative for small spaces. These coolers blow moist air into a space to help cool it down. They are more affordable than misters and use much less water. However, coolers will not have the same cooling effect as misters, cannot help plants survive the heat, and only reach a small area.

The most obvious downside is the high upfront cost of buying and installing one of these systems. Additionally, sometimes the system can take a longer time to heat than alternatives like a boiler. Also, if something goes wrong with the geothermal pump, repairs are often significantly more expensive than repairing traditional, above-ground heat pumps.

Yes, technicians check refrigerant levels, loop performance, and system calibration for peak efficiency.
