"My house was Built-in 1955 and I bought them from the original owner the bath tub had sea foam green everywhere the walls were ceramic green white and pink I could no longer stand it this is my only bathroom in the house I immediately saw the commercial for bath planet and call them the sales person came out and he was very knowledgeable and amazing the prices and financing are incredibly amazing and you have a choice To what will fit your needs the installers that came out were very knowledgeable and I couldn't believe the transformation of my bathroom they did it in one day and they cleaned up after themselves which I told them it was OK I would do it but they insisted I went with the Calcutta Marvel which is absolutely beautiful my friends and family were amazed that this could be done in one day. I would recommend bath planet to anyone and everyone thank you for doing an incredible job and making my value of my home increase One more thing the warranty is amazing thank you again bath planet"

"We had a second story bedroom with a sloping floor. Mike replied quickly to my request for a quote and started the job soon afterwards. The subfloor needed replacing and joists leveled, so it was a big job. His friendly crew did a great job and fixed other issues they found. Mike made sure we were satisfied with the work. I would highly recommend New Vision."

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel questions, answered by experts

Walk-in showers do require a little extra maintenance. The glass is prone to mildew and hard water buildup, so you’ll have to clean your glass shower door more frequently. They’re also harder to use than a tub for small children, and if you choose an open shower, you’ll get less privacy with a potential draft.

A quality shower tiling project is a bathroom upgrade that can increase resale value. Bathroom remodels have the highest return on investments for any home update. Tiling a shower won’t offer the potential 70% ROI that a full bathroom remodel involving upgrading fixtures, installing storage, and a complete room retile will. However, you can expect an average return of 55% to 60% for this refresh.

How much room you need for a roll-in shower depends on your goals and the specifications of your shower. Most roll-in showers require at least 60-by-30 inches of space, and at least 60-by-60 inches is best for comfort and maneuverability. When planning the size of your roll-in shower, consider your needs for comfort and additional installations, such as benches and grab bars, that can make the space tighter.

The most expensive part of adding a bathroom will always be the wet areas, such as the toilet, sink, and shower. Considering a half bathroom won’t have a shower, you’ll save quite a bit of money there versus adding a full bath with a shower or tub. Using qualified professionals is a requirement when dealing with plumbing and electricity, so while you can do some of the addition yourself, leave these two to the pros.

Pros provide detailed quotes and efficient management, reducing overspending risks on materials and labor.
