Customers say: Quick response

"Bob the Builder was a blessing to my family. After getting no where with other contractors and dealing with the insurance company. Bob the Builder step in and handled everything that needed to be done to get my mother’s house repaired. Me and my siblings were searching to find a contractor to repair my mother’s house since December 2020. We even asked our insurance company for recommendations but those contractors gave us the runaround. When we hired Bob the Builder they gave us outstanding customer service and kept us updated on everything. If you are looking for a trustworthy contractor, Bob the Builder is that contractor. If you have any questions or would like pictures of the work that was completed, please feel free to email me, [email protected]."

"Great Company. Fast Efficiant work. Shawn the Window Technician was great, and Devan who was helping him install and we learned that he was actually a Production Manager. Both were great. The completed all of our windows. 7 standard, and a picture window in less than two days. Great company. Great customer service. Shawn,Devan, and Lauren were all amazing."

Window Door Contractors questions, answered by experts

Adding a window to a brick house costs $3,100 to $10,575. Because you’ll need to make changes to the structure of the home, the cost will include obtaining permits and hiring the best pros for this complex job. Larger windows will cost more to install, and the cost can vary based on the window frame material you choose.

A garage door screen can be a worthwhile investment, especially if you frequently use your garage for activities like a home gym, workshop, or other hobbies. It allows you to enjoy fresh air and natural light without worrying about bugs. Additionally, a screen provides ventilation that can improve air quality when you're working with paints, varnishes, or producing sawdust.

The best option depends on your usage. For occasional use, a DIY fabric screen is a low-cost, simple solution that you can put up and take down as needed. If you plan to spend a lot of time in the space, investing in a customized, professionally installed garage door screen can help transform the area into a new hub for your household.

Among the various entry points into your residence, it's crucial to recognize that your basement windows are arguably the most susceptible. Basements usually have windows facing the side and back yards, often concealed from driveway floodlights, porch lighting, and doorbell cameras. Their vulnerability underscores the importance of reinforcing basement window security to safeguard your home from break-ins.

Yes, you can replace the screen without removing the door in most cases depending on the frame holding the screen. Doors with removable spline and screen frames make it a snap to replace the mesh while the door remains in place. The best part is that it’s a simple DIY project requiring a few tools in addition to the screen material.

If you’re not an experienced DIYer, consider hiring a local patio repair contractor to rescreen your porch or sunroom. Unless you’re only repairing a small rip or hole, this project is not an easy job. A professional can also make recommendations for materials that will work best for your porch.
