"We had Remark Construction finish our basement recently, and honestly, the whole experience was fantastic. From day one, they were super professional, easy to talk to, and really respectful of our home and time. At the start of the project, we worked directly with Chris, the owner, and he was great—quick to respond, gave us a fair price, and explained everything clearly. He laid out the process in a way that made sense and didn’t drag things out. We always knew what to expect, and he gave us a few pricing options so my husband and I could make the best decision for us. When it came time to sign the contract, Chris and Jesse sat down with us and walked through every detail. They were so easy to work with and made sure we were all aligned before moving forward. The selection process was super smooth—the whole team helped guide us through it, and they made it easy for us to make choices without feeling overwhelmed. Once things got rolling, the project moved fast. Our site manager, Brandon, was amazing. He gave us true white glove service—always professional, incredibly detail-oriented, and consistently went above and beyond. He kept us updated daily and weekly, made sure we understood what was happening, and double-checked every decision before moving forward. He was also incredibly respectful of our home. Even though it was a construction zone, we were genuinely amazed at how clean and well-kept everything was every single day. Tami Ludwig reached out and said they weren’t able to assist me. I’m out $2,500 and was able to help out their friends engineering company with business while Hughes left me high and dry. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!"
