"Mike and Don did an excellent job replacing a bathtub with a new shower. Not an easy task on a home built in 1941. They were professional and courteous."

"Great sale experience! Took the time to go through options, and set expectations that were exceeded. Installation was great as well! The sent out someone when it worked for my schedule. Will be using again for other projects! This was for a bathtub and surround replacement"

"Craig and his team did an AMAZING! job on our kitchen! We went from vinyl which wasn't in bad condition, but were looking to upgrade.
I contacted Craig via AL and he called that evening to set up a time to quote a price.  He was flexible with our schedule, was on time, and gave us the lowest of our three offers! He was very straightforward with my husband, and took his time to explain where costs came in and what different steps of the project would cost.
He was able to schedule me about two weeks out, and communicated quickly through AL when I had questions.  I picked up my own tile but told him the color of grout we preferred.
We were originally scheduled to start on 10/28, but Craig called a day beforehand and asked if it were possible to push the day back to he could finish another project that had hit a small delay.  He said he didn't want to leave a project halfway, but that if we had scheduled around him he would come Monday morning and work on that project Monday evening.  It was no problem for us to reschedule, and he and his two WONDERFUL workers showed up on Tuesday morning right on time.
My husband was very concerned about me being alone in the house with these two contractors.  However, the men were fantastic and I felt very comfortable with them.  They were friendly, and had it not been for occasional laughs or their radio I would not have known they were here.
They laid nearly all the tile on Tuesday (leaving only a small closet to cut), and were on time Wednesday morning to finish up.  They finished tiling and grouted the entire area Tuesday morning before telling me they were going to lunch and would be back.  When they returned, they moved all my appliances back and replaced the shoe-molding.  They cleaned up and asked if I had any questions/concerns before leaving.
I really could not say enough good about Creative Tile.  They had to work over some problems in our older concrete floor- and you absolutely cannot tell there is any discrepancy in the concrete flooring!  I am so pleased!  I have already started asking husband about having Creative Tile install tile in our bathrooms!
Thank you, Creative Tile!

"I had a new roof put on with new gutters and gutter guards. My deck was replaced with a composite deck and my roof was extended over it so it’s more like a porch now. I had a broken sliding glass door replaced with French doors with inner blinds in the glass. And I had two other outer doors replaced with more up to date styles. Everything turned out beautifully and I couldn’t have asked for nicer people to work with."

Bathtub Replacement questions, answered by experts

Of the two most common and affordable bathtub materials, acrylic is notably better. Though fiberglass is cheaper, it is also more prone to scratching, chipping, fading, and cracking. Acrylic holds up better to wear and tear, cleaning, and sun exposure; the slight cost increase is usually worth the increased longevity.

Labor is the most expensive part of a bathroom remodel. If you’re doing a major remodel, structural changes (such as moving walls) and plumbing reconfiguration can be costly. For a standard remodel, the big-ticket items include tiles and new tub or shower fixtures.

The best bathroom floor tiles are strong enough to withstand the weight of a clawfoot tub. However, professional tile installation is essential. If the tiles are uneven or improperly fixed, they may crack under the pressure. Be careful when installing the tub—if it drops or drags on the tiles, it could easily cause scratches or cracks.

Installing a drop-in tub yourself is possible, especially if you’re replacing your existing tub with a new one of the same size. If you’re replacing a different type of tub, you’ll need to build the structure to hold the new drop-in tub and finish the exposed sides. The structure must be sturdy enough to hold the tub when it’s filled with water, and you’ll need to seal it. If any plumbing work is required, it’s best to call a licensed plumber who installs bathtubs.

Resurfacing a bathtub is less expensive than replacing one. Resurfacing a tub costs about $330 to $630, depending on the material, while replacing a tub costs an average of $4,150. But remember that resurfacing is a temporary solution for a worn-out tub, and you may need to refinish a tub every few years to keep it looking new.
