"I had called 2 other companies and waited over 3 hours and never got a phone call. 1 call to LOCKAL and I got a swift response with an accurate time to arrival. He explained an issue with my lock but had a solution anyway. Within maybe 30 seconds he had my door unlocked. He was very friendly and helpful. "I needed locks changed on my office. I called and spoke to Garth himself. He arrived at 1pm, after we were back from lunch,as we requested. Garth was professional, well mannered, and punctual. I have a professional office and it was during the business day
so I was concerned with speed and also appearance. He was very knowledgeable as well as friendly. The price was less than I
was anticipating! I will definitely be calling him if I have other locksmith needs. He was done in less than 20 minutes and left me with 3 keys, so I didn't even have to have my assistant run and make copies!

Rekeying a lock changes the internal mechanism so that a new key works, while replacing a lock involves swapping out the entire hardware. Rekeying is a good, cost-effective option when you want to ensure old keys no longer work, such as after moving into a new home or losing a key. It's also ideal if you want to keep your existing lock hardware. You should opt to replace the locks entirely if you want to upgrade to a more secure or different style of lock, if the current lock is old or damaged, after a break-in, or if too many copies of the old key exist.

When it comes to how to get a stuck key out of a lock, the simplest way is to use some kind of lubricating substance. One option is to apply graphite powder while wiggling the key gently. As the graphite fills the lock, jiggling should loosen the key enough to allow you to pull it out.

If part of the key is protruding out of the lock, you can use a pair of needle-nosed pliers or tweezers to gently turn the key in the lock to open the door. If the key is fully inserted into the lock, you may also be able to use a key extractor to help turn the key into the unlocked position.
