"I needed locks changed on my office. I called and spoke to Garth himself. He arrived at 1pm, after we were back from lunch,as we requested. Garth was professional, well mannered, and punctual. I have a professional office and it was during the business day
so I was concerned with speed and also appearance. He was very knowledgeable as well as friendly. The price was less than I
was anticipating! I will definitely be calling him if I have other locksmith needs. He was done in less than 20 minutes and left me with 3 keys, so I didn't even have to have my assistant run and make copies!
In the past, I've had experiences with locksmiths who looked less than savory. Garth was clean, well groomed, and not a tattoo in sight! He even held the door open for an elderly client.
5 Stars!

"We have a young child and she managed to lock our keys in the car. It's an electronic entry and our other key was not working. We purchased a deal for $45 for someone to come out and unlock the car which was MUCH less expensive than the dealership to send someone out or to replace the key. The gentlemen said he did not receive notification that we had so he asked us to print out the coupon and he would be there in 15 minutes. It took him maybe 2 minutes and it got it opened. Definitely call these guys!"

"Got inadvertently locked out of my home on Christmas Day. Julian from Prime Locksmith responded promptly and was thoroughly professional and courteous. Applying his skills, he was able to get me back into my home in mere minutes, thus averting what would have been a stressful holiday. I defended recommend Prime Locksmith to help meet any needs in an emergency."

Locksmiths questions, answered by experts

It could be difficult to get in and out of a lock for several reasons, such as the keyhole needing additional lubrication. Particles, debris, and dirt can also get into a lock, making a key stuck (the lubrication can help with the removal).

You might want to change a door lock entry code for a handful of reasons. The most common answers are extra security or a forgotten code. You may also find yourself in a position where you need to temporarily change the code to allow a guest to come and go freely but want to switch it back once things return to normal.

One of the best tools for removing a stripped bolt is a handy pair of locking pliers. Locking pliers can usually grip onto screws with a broken, rounded, or stripped head and lock in place so that you can loosen even the most stubborn bolt that would otherwise remain hopelessly jammed.

Yes, with better technology now available, it’s possible to add a smart lock on your sliding glass door. Smart locks can be easy for almost everyone in the family to operate and can connect to other safety features in the home, like smart lights. Plus, they’re harder for would-be criminals to pick. However, keep in mind that smart locks can potentially be hacked, and some completely rely on phones or Wi-Fi, which can be an issue if the power goes out.

When you take a key to a hardware store or a locksmith for copying, you can expect the key-cutting process to take as little as 30 seconds. The key copier will review your current key to decide on the correct blank. Then, your original key and the blank are inserted into a key duplication machine to cut an exact key copy. When it’s all said and done, you can have a new key in your hand in just a couple of minutes.
