We were in a difficult situation trying to find a quality locksmith to assist us with a job in rural location away from our own hometown.  After trying several other options, I turned to Angie's List and found Hood's Locksmith service.  When I called Jamie and explained the situation, he was professional and committed to meeting me at the residence the following day.  In the midst of this brutally cold winter, he showed up early and worked tirelessly outside in a frigid rain/snow mix.  He was extremely honest and charged an extraordinarily reasonable rate.  He re-keyed the second lock (to match the first) as an added bonus at no additional charge.  This is exactly the type of small business that we need more of in this country.  When you find yourself in need of a great locksmith, this is the man you want to hire!

I was having a problem with an entry door lock on a home I just
purchased.  Since I've not moved yet, I had limited to get the lock
fixed.  I called Jamie on a Saturday afternoon and he was willing to
take a look at it.  He took the lock apart and determined all it needed
was some cleaning and lubrication.  Although I offered to pay, Jamie did
not charge me since it was a "simple" fix for him.  I will definitely
use Jamie again if I need a locksmith.  He's a great guy.

Jamie arrived on time, was personable and considerate; efficiently and quickly completed the job and charged the reasonable price that he gave as an estimate on the phone.

We had a deadbolt lock that kept getting jammed.  If the door was locked from the inside, a key from the outside would not unlock it.  A key was also very difficult to turn in the lock, if it would work at all.  Jamie was able to come out the same day and arrived at the time he said he would be.  He had given an estimate over the phone and the problem took longer than it should have.  He was nice enough to charge his quoted price and fixed the problem dead bolt.  I would absolutely recommend his services.
