Tree removal costs an average of $750, but it can range from $200 to $2,000, depending on the tree's height, diameter, and accessibility. For instance, very large, thick trees will generally cost more to remove than small, thin trees. It's also typically customary to tip your tree removal professional, usually $20 to $100.

If you ever want to see the literal fruits of your labor, you’ll need to prune your peach trees. Without pruning, the trees may not grow or bear fruit since the nutrients will be divided among too many offshoots to provide any with enough energy to produce the peaches. On the other hand, mature trees produce fruit faster and provide more shade and privacy immediately. Ideally, a small or medium tree is the better choice if you can wait a few years for it to mature. But if you need immediate maturity, a larger tree is the only option.

It’s usually best to transplant a tree when it’s dormant. For some, the best option is transplanting during fall after the leaves have fallen—October or November. In other cases, it’s best to transplant before new growth begins in the spring, often around March. But avoid transplanting during winter because the soil is harder and colder, and the tree won’t have the same chance to acclimate.
