I was told for $320 I would either get one man for 8 hours, or 2 men for 4.  It turned out that 4 men came for 2 hours.  After about 5 minutes, the boss told me that they usually didn't get the job completed in 2 hours - but I could buy an additional hour either from him directly or through Angie's list.  I was told that in the original price that they would strip the wallpaper, remove all of the paste, patch and smooth all rough spots. 

Now I will need to pay the painter to  finish the first job before the painting is started.

"His price was good and he worked very quickly with no mess.  He is very good at painting.  We actually moved the furniture away from the walls before he arrived and discovered that someone had spilled something down one wall and there were numerous holes from pictures so we called to confirm whether he would prep or whether we needed to prep and clean the wall.  We were told that they would handle the prep.  After it was painted we discovered that he had painted over the spill so it shows thru the paint, the shape not the color.  I would use him again, as long as I discussed each thing in detail and supervised the work more closely.  I did ask about painting the baseboards and molding after he arrived and he did those as well for an excellent price and as I said, he does work quickly.

(he stained my deck last year)  This time, he removed wallpaper and painted my dining room. This was not an easy task, but the end result is amazing. He also painted my entire interior, fixed all the holes in the walls, and even painted the crown molding. "Price included paint and materials to repair walls. Estimate was a little more than the other quotes obtained but they were able to work this job in very quickly which I very much appreciated. Others could not get to this until late May/June. The rooms look great. Mr. Thomas and his crew worked very diligently and got all this work accomplished in 2 full days. I would hire them again."
