Richard has been doing work for us for over 30 years. I keep telling him I don't know what we would do without him. His work standards are the best and he has great initiative. He sees what needs to be done and does it. We have lived in 3 homes since we first knew him and he has painted them on the exterior, on the interior, finished a basement for us, done wall papering, done plumbing, and stained our deck. I can't possibly remember all the things he has done. He is honest, dependable and just the best!! This summer he also did work for our son who was very pleased. We feel very lucky to have had Richard all these years.

The painter's name is Richard Dubbeld. He was very thorough. He did a nice job. He did some things that we asked him to correct. He works by himself, so it's not fast. He was very pleasant and very unobtrusive being in the home. Whatever we asked for was what he did. There were some minor chores that I chose to do like painting the vent covers. He would have painted them, but there were some things that by choice I did, otherwise he would have. He was in our house for 2 weeks painting because he does work alone. You have to be prepared for that. If you want a fast job done and if it is a larger job, it won't be fast. He was very pleasant to have in the house for that length of time. He was friendly but he was unobtrusive. He basically took care of himself. Since he worked by himself, if he needed to delay or miss a day, I always knew ahead of time. He certainly knew his job. If he disagreed with us, he let us know, but whatever we asked was what he did. His clean-up was pretty good. Being retired and at home, I also kept an eye on that to make sure that he had enough drop cloths to cover the furniture. Our ceiling is hard to paint so if I saw touch-up areas that needed to be done, he did that. I don't have anything to compare his price to. If he was not going to be able to be on time, he would always let me know and he would stay later. He was very professional.

Richard responded to my initial email the same day with a phone call. He came to my house to provide a quote. Due to his very competitive quote and his Angie List recommendation, we chose him to do the work. And we weren't disappointed. He was prompt, thorough and pleasant. His work is high quality. We plan on hiring Richard again to paint our kitchen.

PUNCTUAL, VERY EASY TO WORK WITH, DEPENDABLE, VERY SATISFIED WITH WORK.

OVERALL, THE EXPERIENCE WAS A GOOD ONE WITH RICHARD. HE IS A CARING MAN WHO WORKED HARD TO MATCH THE EXISTING TEXTURE IN A 25 YEAR OLD CEILING, TAKING THREE TRIES TO GET IT RIGHT. BAD ADVICE FROM THE PAINT STORE AS TO WHICH TINT TO ADD TO THE PRIMER LED TO ADDITIONAL TIME AND WORK, BUT THE PRICE REMAINED THE SAME. WHEN IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT A FEW AREAS WERE MISSED, RICHARD WAS QUICK TO RETURN TO TOUCH UP THOSE AREAS. OUR ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT WAS THAT THERE WAS A FAIRLY LONG DELAY IN GETTING THE WORK STARTED, DUE TO A HOLD-UP ON ANOTHER JOB. WE WERE DELAYED TWO OR THREE WEEKS PAST THE ANTICIPATED START DATE. HOWEVER, ONCE THE JOB STARTED HE WAS PUNCTUAL IN ARRIVING TO THE JOB AND CAREFUL IN HIS WORK. (THE B RATING OVERALL REFLECTS THE DELAY IN SCHEDULING.)

GOOD EXPERIENCE. HE CAME SOONER THAN HE THOUGHT HE COULD AND WAS ON TIME AND PROFESSIONAL.

MR. DUBBELD IS VERY PROFESSIONAL, TRUST-WORTHY AND THOROUGH. SINCE HE DOESN'T HAVE A CREW SOME SCHEDULING MAY NOT BE IMMEDIATE IF HE'S ON ANOTHER JOB, BUT HE IS VERY RELIABLE AND INTERESTED IN WORKING. I RECOMMEND HIM HIGHLY. I CAN'T COMPARE PRICING BECAUSE I DIDN'T GET BIDS.

RICHARD WAS PLEASANT AND ON TIME. VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. HIS PRICE FOR THE AMOUNT OF WORK WAS VERY FAIR. QUALITY WAS VERY GOOD & ALSO DID A GOOD JOB CLEANING UP.

RICHARD IS AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR. HE IS ALWAYS ON TIME. YOU CAN FEEL SAFE IF YOU HAVE TO LEAVE YOUR HOUSE AND LEAVE HIM IN THE HOUSE WHILE YOUR GONE. HE WAS VERY NEAT AND CLEAN. HE CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF AFTER THE JOB EVERY DAY. HE IS JUST VERY EASY TO WORK WITH.

OVERALL GOOD EXPERIENCE. THOUGH HE WAS A LITTLE SLOW RESPONDING. BUT EFFICIENT WHILE WORKING. VERY PLEASANT, GOOD CLEAN UP, I HAD GREAT CONFIDENCE IN HIM.

THIS COMPANY GAVE FAR LOWER ESTIMATE BY NEARLY HALF THAN THE NEAREST COMPETITOR. ON TIME, NEAT, GREAT WORK, SUPERB CLEANUP. RICHARD WAS BETTER WEATHER FORECASTER THAN ANY MEDIA. HE SAID IT WOULD NOT RAIN ALTHOUGH LIGHTNING VISIBLE TO THE NORTH. HE WAS RIGHT!

RICHARD IS A GREAT PAINTER. HE HAS DONE WORK INSIDE OUR HOUSE AS WELL AS THIS RECENT EXTERIOR JOB. HE IS A VERY GOOD PAINTER AND HIS PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE. EVEN THE CLERK AT THE PAINT STORE NOTED WHAT A GREAT GUY RICHARD IS.

EXCELLENT WORK. VERY METICULOUS. WE FELT COMFORTABLE HAVING HIM IN OUR HOME. GOOD COMMUNICATION AND ADVICE WHEN WE ASKED FOR IT. HE POINTED OUT ERRORS WE MISSED, THEN CORRECTED THEM. A GREAT VALUE AS WELL. MAKE SURE AND ASK ABOUT THE MANY DIFFERENT TYPES OF WORK HE CAN DO. VERY IMPRESSIVE.
