"Rodney and crew do excellent work. They asphalted my driveway more than twenty years ago and it held up really well. I also had them coat it every several years. Last year they redid the driveway and did excellent work. They are friendly and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them."

"These guys were great. I spoke with Tony for a home painting job. He was very polite, patient, professional and answered alllll my questions, as they arose, in a timely manner. 2 polite young men, Ardit and Ricardo, showed up on the date of the project on time and ready to work. They did a great paint job and the clean up afterwards ð ð was great and left nothing behind. Driveway aprons typically range between four and seven inches thick, though your town's building codes will likely have specific requirements. Additionally, you may need to add a layer of permeable aggregate in the excavation below your paved apron to ensure proper stormwater drainage.

While some areas may allow for a slope of up to 20%, this is often the maximum slope for driveways, with a few exceptions of up to 25%. Other regions may have a maximum of 12%, 15%, or 18%, so check with your local building department to ensure you’re laying a driveway that is up to code for your location.

The three most common types of asphalt are hot asphalt, MC cold mix, and UPM asphalt. Hot asphalt is used most often for paving and patching roadways while it’s hot and workable. MC cold mix asphalt cures more slowly than hot asphalt, but it can be used for temporary patches and repairs in low-traffic areas. UPM is also used cold, but it can be used as a longer-term fix, usable in almost any conditions at almost any temperature.
