"He did a great job on our big driveway and our neighbor hired him on the spot because he was so impressed with the job he did for us. We will have him back in the future for maintenance on our driveway."

"The approach to the road they poured for us is beautiful, but it wasn’t quite angled properly for the existing driveway. That is the reason for docking half a star. Now our drive looks like it has a kink in it. Other than that we are happy with it. Haven’t been able to drive on it yet since we are still in the 21-day waiting period."

"This company did an oustanding job! Our driveway looks absolutely beautiful! The owner was highly responsive and prompt. I talked to him on Thursday and had a brand new driveway on Tuesday. Thank you so very much! Definately worth 5 stars, if not more!"

Asphalt Driveways questions, answered by experts

Yes, with colored finishes and decorative stamping for a personalized touch.

It’s best to weigh the pros and cons of each material and decide on your priorities for your driveway. Gravel won’t be an appropriate choice if your driveway experiences heavy traffic. You’ll find that you need to level and top it off regularly, which could make the material a much more expensive option.

To ensure you hire a reliable and experienced paving company, you should start by finding companies in your area that have at least five to ten years of experience working in your neighborhood. Next, rule out companies with poor reviews online or a series of complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau. Since driveways affect your curb appeal, you should also ask each company for references and pictures of recent work to make sure the work the company does is professional and high quality. Finally, check that the company is licensed and insured.

By grading and compacting the base soil, ensuring proper drainage and stability.

The cost to replace a driveway ranges from $8 to $15 per square foot, depending on factors that include material, size, and labor. If your driveway has deep cracks, potholes, or drainage issues (or if it’s simply past its prime), replacement might be the smarter investment over constant repairs. Resurfacing can be a cheaper alternative at $3 to $20 per square foot, but it won’t fix your driveway’s underlying problems.
