"Refloor is extremely organized and professional. Their communication alone was 5 stars. They were extremely patient, answered all of my questions and my floors turned out beautiful. They moved all of my furniture, installed the flooring, cleaned up and put all of my furniture back. They were over the top friendly and confident. I would definitely recommend Refloor!"

"Carpet looks great and is exactly as expected. Cathy was great in the showroom and on the phone, and Bob, who came to measure was also great. Installation was fast (one day), but the installers had a couple issues. They did some damage to one of my walls (I had just patched and painted all the walls before the carpeting went in, so I know this had to be done by them, even though they didn't mention it to me). The wall now needs to be patched and painted yet again, as they put a deep gouge into it. Also, one of them used my bathroom upstairs to make a large deposit. He evidently ran out of toilet paper, and decided to use some paper towels I had in there instead. The toilet was clogged, and again, they did not tell me - they just closed the toilet lid and went on about their day. Cathy was extremely apologetic about this when I called her, and offered to reimburse my expenses. I appreciate the sentiment, but was very put off by this experience, and the lack of respect the installers showed for me and my home. I had to spend time that I had slated for other tasks correcting and recleaning. Unfortunately, I will not use them again, or recommend them. Hopefully they will correct their current personnel issues, and no one else will have to have an experience like mine.

"My garage floor was full of pits and cracks when the installer started. This crew had a system of working together, not stopping: grinding, sweeping, patching and applying the product. I now have a beautiful garage floor to be proud of. ADPRO CONCRETE COATINGS is the way to go"

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

There are a few carpet maintenance tips you’ll want to use to keep your carpet looking brand-new. Make sure you tackle stains immediately, and only use cleaners gentle enough for your carpet's specific fibers. You can even pop area rugs on top of wall-to-wall carpeting to change the look of your space and protect the carpet below.

If you’re having your flooring professionally installed, both cork and bamboo are natural options that ring in at an affordable price. These flooring materials may cost as little as $2 or $3 per square foot (for comparison, some hardwood floors cost upward of $20 per square foot), and they’re also sustainable and healthy. Keep in mind that each manufacturer will set their own prices, and labor costs will add to the overall price you pay.

Carpeting lasts between 10 and 15 years in most cases, but keep an eye out for common signs that it's time to replace it. Persistent smells despite deep cleaning, faded color, worn-down carpet padding, and general wear and tear are signs that it's time to tear it up. If you are experiencing allergy issues indoors, this could also be a sign that new flooring is the key to a fresher home.

New flooring costs quite a bit, so longevity is important to think about. Concrete generally has the longest life span, but it’s not always a good solution for homes with wooden subfloors. That said, hardwood floors and stone floors can last up to 100 years, and you can refinish or restore them to remove imperfections from daily wear.

Yes, carpet tiles are easy to install—even if you don’t have much DIY experience. In fact, the simple installation process is one of the main reasons that people choose carpet tiles over traditional carpet. Since carpet tiles come in individual squares, they aren’t as heavy or awkward to install as regular carpet. Plus, you don’t need specialized equipment (like knee kickers or carpet stretchers) when installing carpet tiles.
