"John called quickly. I Explained that yellow jackets had a nest somewhere in my siding and described where their entry point was. We agreed on price over the phone. I also added in a subsequent message that different wasps were building a nest inside a vent. He said he'd come at 6:30am this morning when the yellow jackets were "home". We never saw or met John but both the yellow jackets and other wasps appear to be gone! So far, fair, effective and easy!"

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Squash bugs only see one generation per year, but that doesn’t mean they won’t return. These persistent pests overwinter in garden debris, under leaves, and in nearby structures, emerging in the spring ready to start the cycle again. Without proper cleanup and preventative measures, you can expect squash bugs to come back each growing season, especially if you’ve had issues with them in the past.

Your household members and pets should remain out of the house for at least two to four hours after using a bug bomb. However, you should adhere to the product’s safety guidelines, as well as any professional guidance from an exterminator.

The fastest way to get rid of termites is to apply a liquid insecticide exterior barrier around your home. If you have a severe infestation, this is your best option, and we recommend having a professional exterminator tackle this project.

There are several things to consider before you hire a professional exterminator:

  • Do they have the proper licensing?

  • Are they experienced?

  • Do they use eco-friendly products?

  • Are their products pet safe?

These are questions to ask yourself when you’re on the hunt for an ant exterminator, but you can also ask the exterminator or pest control company directly.

Wasps are aggressive to protect their nests. Although they are deemed aggressive, they only act that way when they feel their nests are threatened. They can also act aggressive when there is a lack of food available. Most wasps will leave you alone if you stay clear of their nests.
