"I used them for mosquito control Weather has a major impact on scheduling, so it was hard to set firm dates for service. Always showed up once they were scheduled. Treatments provided significant, but not total relief from mosquito problem. Price was good compared to other services. Techs were always pleasant and professional."

Small jobs welcome

"We hired James for both Critter control and to repair/replace our deck. James was very thorough with both jobs. His workmanship was very good and he worked closely to ensure that we were happy throughout the project. James made adjustments if needed without complaint. James came to work as scheduled and worked closely with us to keep cost down. He carefully sourced materials looking for the best pricing. We will definitely hire James for future home projects and highly recommend him to anyone looking for critter control or handyman projects."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

Yes, it’s possible for bats in your attic to find a way into your living spaces. Until you can properly remove the bats, the best course of action is to keep the attic doors closed and any holes sealed. Evidence suggests bats follow the airflow in your home, so they may try escaping from the attic to other parts of the house.

You can find a variety of humane bird repellent sprays online and at home improvement stores. However, if you want to try a DIY method that will keep birds away without harming them, mix some water, dish soap, and a few drops of peppermint oil and spray the area you want bird-free. Peppermint oil is a notoriously lovely smell for humans, but birds tend to avoid it.

Some animals, such as bats or birds, will be able to get out of chimneys on their own since they can fly. Other animals, however, may have a harder time and will require the help of a professional to escape. Squirrels and raccoons in particular may become stuck inside a chimney, especially if you have a buildup of soot or creosote inside. This can prevent them from being able to climb out, in which case you’ll need to call an animal control expert to help remove them.

Studies indicate that owls don't possess a conventional sense of fear. However, they find intense, sudden human noise unsettling, like clapping or shouting. Additionally, owls are likely spooked by sudden bursts of bright light. While they may not experience fear as humans do, these disturbances can disrupt their natural behaviors, making it essential to minimize such disruptions when sharing spaces with these remarkable creatures.

Woodpeckers peck at the break of dawn and take a break whenever the sun is not shining. On sunny days, expect pecking from dawn to dusk. On cloudy days, expect sporadic pecking when the sun peeks through. These birds are most active in the spring; you’ll hear them drumming as soon as the weather turns warm.
