Customers say: Terrific value

"We have used Dean for 3 projects: driveway, stamped concrete patio and replaced cracked concrete pad. All have been done on time and were amazing!! They are professional, within our price range and went above and beyond our expectations. We have recommended them to family and neighbors who have also hired them and have been just as Happy!!!!! You will not be disappointed. If I could give higher than 5 ⭐️ I would!"

"Oh my gosh! What a transformation! I opted to repair my stairs, not replace them, but, honestly, they all look new. Tim's son is a artisan and spent a lot of time on the details. I didn't know concrete could look so good. They are coming back in two weeks to stain the concrete to help it blend in with the older sidewalk around the house. I am very pleased."

"I live in Cincinnati OH and I contacted Advanced Restoration & Waterproofing with a question I had about damaged caulking where my concrete patio meets my foundation. I was concerned with potential water seeping into the basement. I was not sure I needed actual work done, however. Marty immediately called me back to discuss it on the phone. He was incredibly helpful and even asked me to send him pictures on the phone. After looking at them and talking with me, he offered to stop by and take a quick look around since he was working close to my area. He took time out of his day to explain what was going on and make sure I felt comfortable. Turns out there is not any issue that needs to be resolved and he gave me piece of mind. I highly recommend Marty and Advanced Restoration & Waterproofing here in Cincinnati!"

"Project went very well. Horace and Vic showed up on schedule, explained clearly what they would be doing, kept me apprised of the progress as the job was performed, and walked me through the results. I was a bit surprised by the price for the work, but this was the only company that responded and committed to do the work, so I really don't have a good comparison price point. Note that the process was NOT mudjacking, but jacking and reinforcement with a poly product that offers many benefits over mudjacking."

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

Mudjacking typically takes 24 to 72 hours (one to three days) to dry and cure completely before you can resume normal use. The total drying time can vary depending on the size of the project. Because the slurry mixture contains cement, it needs to harden fully to prevent the concrete slab from shifting under added weight. You should avoid walking on the concrete or placing heavy items like furniture or vehicles on the surface until it has fully set. Your concrete contractor can provide a precise timeline. As a point of comparison, if you opt for polyjacking, the polyurethane foam can dry in minutes, but it's recommended to wait about an hour before use.

Address drainage issues, avoid heavy loads, and seal cracks to prevent future settling.

Mudjacking can be an expensive foundation repair process, but in many cases, it’s well worth the investment. This is especially true if you’re lifting a portion of sunken foundation slab back into place. In that case, mudjacking can help avoid major structural damage and even home collapse by restoring the integrity of your structure with minimally invasive procedures. Mudjacking a concrete patio, walkway, or sidewalk can be worthwhile because it removes tripping hazards and makes your outdoor area more aesthetically appealing.

Mudjacking is suitable for sidewalks, driveways, patios, and nearly all exterior flat structures. However, it may not suit severely damaged or heavily cracked areas.

Charges correlate with surface size, settlement depth, and access, often yielding significant savings over concrete replacement.
