"Milton and his crew did an excellent job taking down our spruce tree, chopping and grinding it up. Using safety ropes and saws they climbed our trees and made them look a lot better. We recently got a new fence near the locust tree and then decided we needed to have the locust tree trimmed. Milton and his crew carefully removed the problem limbs and cleaned up our yard and the neighbors' yards. Before the men left, Milton chopped up the stump on the spruce tree and the men cleaned up all the debris that fell in the yard. They cleaned up all the tree debris in the street in front of the house before they left. They did an excellent job cleaning up the tree debris and left and yard and street in great shape. They cut the trees neatly with no striped bark or any damage."

"I recently moved into my Grandmothers home and with it came an older hot tub that wasn't working.  Last year I called a few other companies I found in the phone book (prior to joining Angieslist).  The only company I got in touch with didn't even come out to look at the hot tub but over the phone said "it'll be $1,000-$1,500 to fix it."  At the time I could not afford to have them come fix the hot tub and I'm super happy I didn't call them back now.  I found Joe using Angie's List and found one review especially that made me decide to call him.  The reviewer was in the same situation as I was in regards to having old hot tub that wasn't working.  When I saw that Joe had told this person the hot tub wasn't worth fixing I knew this was the guy I wanted to work with.  Seeing that a repair man was honest enough to tell someone not to spend any money was refreshing. 
I called Joe last week and set the time for him to come look at my hot tub.  Joe called when he was about 30 minutes away, which I liked since most companies just show up without warning.  Joe looked at the hot tub and said that the pump was seized up and he needed to take it apart to see if it could be fixed instead of replacing it.  While he was removing the pump he explained things to me that ruin hot tubs and their parts, to me that was important since I've never owned one before.  Joe was able to fix the pump easily and told me that it would probably last 2 more years (it's 21 years old) before needing to be replaced.  Joe then went over things I needed to do in order to treat the water and properly maintain the hot tub.  He also gave me specific instructions for filling the hot tub up and estimates as to how long to wait before continuing to the next steps. 
Joe was at my home for 3 hours and the entire time he either talked to me about things regarding to the hot tub or else just had friendly conversation with me.  I'm not saying all repair people don't have friendly conversations with people, but it's rare.  Joe was not only honest, professional, and punctual but he was genuinely friendly.  When Joe gave me the bill I was very happy that I hadn't called the other company that wanted $1,000-$1,500 to fix the same thing.  For the 3 hours of work Joe charged me a few dollars shy of $350.  I would highly, highly recommend calling Joe for any hot tub/spa needs, it was easily the most enjoyable experience I've had with a repair person in my home.
