The reason I removed one star is because I believe the quoted contract price, specifically for allowances, can improve. You should expect to add a minimum of $20,000 to your contract price. I also recommend referring to your contract throughout to ensure you aren’t getting an extra charge for something that should be included. Like I said, the quality of work is fantastic, but the up front pricing can improve."

"Claudiu Curescu of RC Brothers Construction is an amazing contactor. I had interviewed three contactors. The first one just said some cost figures verbally for my repairs. The second contractor hand wrote some cost figures on a sheet of paper. Claidiu produced a truly professional online estimate on his letterhead and detailed the work requested and the related cost as an estimate. He was by far the most professional. His painter iand crew are superb and use high quality Benjamin Moore paint. They are all very clean and clean up throughout the process. They took down my wall hangings and painting then after rehung them without any damages. There was no damage to my furniture. The tile guy and his partner created a beautiful look and the work was first rate quality. The carpet guy upgraded my new carpeting too. It’s a besutiful carpeting. Claidiu’s two brothes are involved too. One brother does excellent electrical work and figured out and fixed a complicated electrical issue. "

"The initial contact was ok. He was nice and friendly. He charged $4.000 for the job. He never presented a contract. He changed appointments to complete other “more important jobs”. He was late a couple of times but never missed an arranged date. The job took a week with the in between breaks. He needed parts and sent my husband to get them. He also added charges but failed to summit receipts as promised. Everything looked good but within two weeks things start going down hill. First the calling needs to be repaired on top and bottom of sink. The pipping came loose two times and had to be repaired from the washer installation . The cabinets suffered water damage due to the water spilling out The dishwasher wasn’t locked in place. The outlet plate cover wasn’t installed. The flooring is separating. He never present any contract or paperwork period. That should have stopped me but I’m thinking Angie’s list and went head in. I have spent two hundred and now I have to pay someone to fix my flooring. I tried to contact him but received no response. I will never use anyone on Angie’s list again."

"Brian was beyond exceptional!!!! He exceeded all expectations and went beyond to make suggestions that we never would have thought of. We had assorted jobs and he performed them all with such expertise. The caulking in our shower stall, he was not fond of the colored caulk I bought and steered me to what would look and serve us best. He was so right and it matches beautifully. He painted our laundry room and bathroom. In the laundry room he had to sparkle holes first. He raised the door stop so it wouldn't bang on the wall and recreate the hole. We didn't think about that, but he diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He painted the bathroom and was a perfectionist in respackling and repainting this section so it was totally unnoticeable. Brian asked for silicone spray because the door he kept going in and out of squeaked badly. I will go out and get some, I always relied on WD40 and he explained the difference. Every step of the way Brian treated our house as his own, we were so impressed!!!!!!"
