"1. They broke the water main in two places, covered it up by continuing the landscaping, lied about breaking it, and offered to re-landscape again later for more money. 2. I told them I wanted ground cover around established trees and on the side of the house. Instead they planted grass there. They then planted the ground cover without first killing the new grass. It looks terrible because of all the grass growing around and rising above the new ground cover. 3. There are many, many large bare spots where grass should be growing. I told them about that but instead of seeding or reseeding the bare spots, they covered it up with the fiber blanket that concealed the fact grass seed wasn't planted until after I paid them. 4. They fixed my brick sidewalk but forgot they were to treat it. When I reminded them to do it, they didn't sweep off the dirt and just covered the dirt. 5. Tore pond liner, covered it up, and didn't reattach to new bricks despite many promises."

"Garage was built well. Wasn’t happy with the concrete guys they used.(0 stars)Thought I’d have a patio poured as they did the slab for the garage to make it easier. They ended up sloping it towards the house. Water runs towards my house on rainy days and sits behind my basement foundation. Very noticeable by eye too. When I put a table or chair on it, the whole set sits crooked. I have to wedge it with a piece of wood to keep it level. I have cracks in several places as well after the first year which I know no one guarantees but thats besides the point. Called them to address the issue but never got a response to the problem. I’ve had to look at it everyday for the last 2 years and it frustrates me. Called them back, explained the situation again…. even suggested to redo it at cost….they said they would get back to me ….but no response…again. They tell you about how good they are but when you try to address it, they don’t do anything. I guess I’ll have to tear it out and it replaced by someone else. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I gave them plenty of opportunities to make it right. It’s ashamed because I had a lot of people asking me for referrals. I even paid more that other quotes thinking they were different. I didn’t feel confident in recommending them. If anyone wants to see the work, please let me know. Hope it was worth it guys! UPDATE: 4/24 Bob proactively reached out to me and was unaware of the issues I had with the concrete. Internal communication issue? I don’t know. Apparently they've had issues with that concrete contractor and no longer use them. Garage4you said they want to make it right. Totally wasn't expecting that. Currently in the process of correcting the issue. I will update the review once completed. Just thought I'd let everyone know as you are gearing up for garage work soon. Maybe I was wrong and there are good ones out there. We shall see. UPDATE: 5/25 Well....a year has gone by and Issue has not been resolved. I reached out toward the end of summer thinking that they were busy and would do it in fall. Never happened. Obviously couldn't do it in winter. I told them let’s set it for early spring. I had to called in April to follow up. There has been no sense of urgency on their part. I keep getting the run around as if they didn't want to do it anymore. Not sure why this is so hard. You had a different contractor come out to validate that it wasn't done right. Then you put it in writing what needs to happen and it still hasn't. I even have all the texts archived. This is getting frustrating again but goes back to my original intuition. They are really good at telling you "how good they are" but when it comes to things like this, don't want to take responsibility; even though they acknowledged it. (which is worse in my opinion) Just wanted to get this done before I beautify my backyard as I know it will get torn up. I will give them one more week to schedule or tell me what is happening. If I don't hear back, I i'll most likely have to take it to the next step. Hopefully my next update is more promising. I've posted some pics so you can see what I am talking about. Pics don't do justice. 6/25/2025-Well. Now they are ignoring me. Guess I have to take it to the courts.............This is why contractors get a bad name! 9/25. "It didn't. I had a need to build a retaining wall in my front garden. Gallardo's was one of the vendors recommended by Angi. I got an immediate response which was good, requesting more details and, if possible photos of the requested work. I responded, providing details and photos ask requested. I never heard back. I sent a follow up again requesting a quote. I got nothing. Ghosting potential customers is not a good business practice. I do have some future projects in mind but Gallardo's won't even be considered. No way to run a business. You can bet I will chat with friends and family and advise them not to consider Gallardo's even if recommended by Angi."

"The quality of the work was poor, the sod was laid and not rolled out which is preventing the sod from catching and causing the lawn to look uneven, the grass seed/ dirt was spread sporadically over the front lawn without focusing on the bare spots which was the ultimate goal of the seeding. (for treatment/solution to holes in the lawn to promote grass growth in those areas.) Also there was very little grass seeds or dirt spread to back lawn. I brought this to Kevin's attention and he said he would take care of it and that he ran out of dirt, also his response to my calls or e-mails was not timely or not at all. I called and text him on several occasions requesting that he comes to complete the job and he never showed up to complete the job as promised. I also feel the additional cost he charged ($1500) to lay 4 to 5 rolls of sod for 20 ft. x 24 ft. area (480 sq. ft.) , was over priced and he took advantage of me and I am a victim of price gouging. His initial quote he gave me was 3400 (for the seeding, retainer wall removal, aeration, power raking, cutting the grass, plant 1 bush) but I just noticed he has put 3500 on the contract so even in that instance I paid him $100 more than what was agreed upon. The contract that he wanted me to sign was very extensive and "construction focused" and did not address everything we had discussed for this project. It basically was an agreement to ensure payment and cover himself if I did not pay. When I noticed the contract did not list line by line description of the scope of the work I brought that to his attention and asked him to include what the job would intel ( work order) listing what we had talked about. He told me he would bring it when he came to do the job. I didn't receive anything, but he had already came to to start the job. By the time he finally came to start the job I had received a warning from the village due to my grass had grown more then 5 inches waiting for him to come and take care of cutting the grass when he was to start the project. The overall communication and follow up with this company is not good and they do not provide detailed scope of work orders even when requested."
